does anyone know the exact structure of this cup? I know that it is a challenge cup that involves lower clubs, like the challenge cup you lot compete for at wembley... but I have not been able to find any solid information on it.

Round three of the Lord Derby Cup is where the top flight clubs join the survivors from the early rounds. The clubs that have made it this far are drawn at home to a top division club, greatly increasing the upset potential. It also leaves us with three all Élite 1 ties.
