Lost camera at grand final

Hi all,

This is my first forum post I have made and it is a last ditch effort to find my digital camera.

I attended the GF and watched our beloved Dragons take a much deserved Premiership and in the process discard the Chokers tag which bugged my big time and I am sure the players no end!

It was an experience I will carry with me for my entire life and it was a fantastic day!

The only thing was I lost my digital camera between leaving ANZ after the game and on the train back to Blacktown station. The camera can be easily replaced, but the photos are priceless! We sat in the first row behind the fence and got magnificent shots and video of the Dragon Army, family and also us congratulating the players as they came around on their victory lap.

I am just hoping you could pass the word around and hopefully someone may have found it. I have no identification on the camera but it is a blue Panasonic Lumix.

If you could ask around and with some luck it may turn up that would be unbelievable.

Thank you very much!

GO THE MIGHTY ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS FOREVER!!!!! :D

A poster here works at ANZ. he might be able to point you towards lost property. The real lost property, where they dont sell the missing children into the slave trade.

That's Stagger Eel, a moderator in the Eels forum.

Stagger eel is a good bloke. He has volunteered the info in the open forum before so I don't think he'll mind.

Da Doctor, Stagger eel's profile page is here: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/member.php?u=5517

You can send him private message from there.

Good luck!

A bloke with a fashionable hair colour who used to have a lot to do with Jubilee Avenue also works at ANZ.

Must be something about Saints supporters and their cameras. A fellow saints supporter and friend of mine lost his camera at the Grand Final Footy Show at the Opera House. He went to the toilet, hung the camera on the hook and forgot to get it. Went back five minutes later and it had been removed.

Hope you have better luck than he did, Da Doctor

can't help with this camera, but can offer you some advice..

always make sure the first photo on your memory card is a photo of a peice of paper advising your name and phone number to call you on if this camera is found...

there are some good people out there who will call...

Thanks everyone! It is great to see how we all stick together. I am hoping it will be returned. It is really the photos I want.

In saying that, if I do not, I still have the memories of the Greatest Sporting Experience of my Life! (That I was not personally involved in).

Cheers all!!:thumb

Guvner

?

Looks like we have a lead...

You must be the only guy on Lu who doesnt know the Guvnor!

The guy is an absolute legend, he goes to most games.

If it was a camera with a lense in it, Im pretty sure it must be mine.

If you tell the guv to send it to LU, I can claim it.

Tell Guv I owe him one!

:p

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt Dave, and assume that you're speed reading again.

Da Doctor won't find anyone called 'Guvnor' on the forums. Spelling is Guvner.

Thanks a lot but seeing as though I am new to forum posting I can not send a private message to Guvner to ask him.

Could anyone pass one on to him for me? :D

Cheers.

Sorry Doc, I found the owner of this camera on the night. It was a black Lumix BTW.
