Are you guys seriously having a crack at Tuqiri? The guy's been injured most of the year. He can't just switch on to top level.

My son (8 years old) said you can't have a go at him he's getting old. I said he is a first grade rugby league player playing for my team.

He needs to improve.

Most over rated player in the team by far.... Finishes off tries that all wingers should finish off given that Lawrence always draws in atleast 2 defenders and puts Lote in the open... Definately a solid finisher but nothing more.
Cannot defend to save his life and is LAZY.... Gets caught out of position multiple times each game.
Seems to be a protected species on these boards.
If any other player played like he has all this year and a solid amount of last year people would be asking why he isn't playing state cup...

Yeah but he looks like the predator.

Seems to have forgotten that he needs to straighten it eventually when centreing for a sideline PTB...and if he ditches the lounge cushion taped to his arm he may hold onto the fkn pill

I'm more annoyed at how he dawdles back with the ball since returning from injury. I understand he's going to be conservative coming back from a busted arm, but he's gone too far into the safe zone, to the point that he's no longer become a go-to man in attack.

I think he'll pull out a much better performance this week. I would have liked to see him up against Vatuvei. I think he's the sort of player that rises to the occasion against strong opponents.

One more year at $400K?

Oh dear...

Do you think the Titans might want him?

I hope he is not on that much. I was told be a board member a few years ago that you can only pay wingers so much and that is why we lost Pat Richards and would never get him back (I believe they said anything over $200K was too much to spend on a winger).

The coach and most of the board are the same now, so unless they have changed their mind I doubt Lote is anywhere near $400k a year under the salary cap. However he may be on a lot of 3rd party deals that inflate his wage. I believe we are getting better with the use of 3rd party deals and that most of Blair's salary will not be included in the salary cap. The Bromcos have show you can have a consistently good team for decades if you make great use of 3rd party deals. I believe we are amongst the best at using 3rd party deals amongst the Sydney teams.

I expect him to put a lot of egg on people's faces next season if he remains injury free.

Oh yeah, no doubt the potential is still there. He has been down on confidence and I'm sure that after several games with Lawrence inside him he'll come good, that's next year though.

Lote was a sensation at the start of the seaon but continued injury cruelled thigns for him. His appearances at the end were dismal. I got sick of seeing him run across field, not straight and a shadow of his former self. I hope he can regain his mojo for 2012 and WT. If not, he will be a very expensive failed signing for WT. I'd rather Utai / Brown be retained for 2012 if Lote remains down on form and confidence.
