often discretion is the better part of valour MMM.

You never know, louie might come home and be looking for a club sometime soon.

Dumping on his club through the media would be remembered..

famuina found a club easy enough - that after all that crap at the warriors and after walking out on a club and not even letting them know and found a top four NRL team as a new home.

And all this with out the help of his manager.

Louis was never going to get back into the side... hes rubbish... has been for awhile now. i would take Wairangi Koopu over Louis Anderson anyday... Louis isnt professional enough for mine.... the way hes gone about this just proves that. what a dickhead...

when Koopu was given a job by his coach he did it. its a joke even comparing the two. im stunned that Koopu didnt get into the train-on squad to be honest.

crap on the coach and you crap on the club.

there was a better way of doing it imo

It's clearly evident with two sides take in response to Louie's actions. The youthful approach is to let rip without foreseeing any consequences, whereas the mature audience often peruse the situation and accordingly make an informed decision.

Reminds me of the story about the old bull and the young bull....

well what about ol cooper vuna then:

he came out to talk about why he left warriors etc and come out again in the media to say well he's good enough to make kiwi train-on squad but not to make warriors etc. lol

In essence i think its a good thing the both these young guys came out and said that as they both have a strong case and it increases pressure on cleary and warriors to push these youngsters and incorporate them into the warriors long term future. I think it helps other youngsters at the club.

I hope vuna and anderson has a awesome year next year which will smarten the warriors up and be a lesson learnt.

Also koopu - doesnt deserve to be named in the kiwi train-on squad - he had a real serious injury and I dont think he will ever be the same again. went alrite at centre and against parra on attack - but not sure he can withstand the workload of the forwards.

Not saying anderson did - but at least he is at full strength and kiwis can utilise more effectively than the warriors did.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a guy that thinks he's better than what he is. Apparently Cooper was sidestepping before he was walking.

Louis Anderson is a bloke who played 13 tests before he turned 21, some of you are talking about him like he's a fringe first grader. He was never a fringe first grader.

I think he is a fringe first grader. I really don't know what the fuss is about him. What does he have that I'm not seeing. He's not especially big (about the same size as Wai), not especially fast (Wai would be faster). Doesn't bust a lot of tackles, doesn't offload a lot. Doesn't score a lot of tries. What does he do?

I'm not his biggest fan either

I just think people have completely lost track of reality, because Louis has ALWAYS been a first-grader through his thus far brief career during which he has packed in a sh*t load of top level experience and hardly stopped to take a breath

His dropping this year was pretty much inexplicable in the general context of his career to date. Maybe personally you don't rate him as a player, but it was out of character behaviour by Ivan anyway.

It's no secret that when a YOUNG player leaves a club to chase the money elsewhere, it tends to piss people off, e.g. Justin Hodges, Brisbane, 2001.

the fact that he has played test football says more about how sh*te the kiwis are then how good anderson is.

if he was australian do you think he would be even close to test football??

hes got more test caps than Steve Price but you wouldnt dare put him on the same level as pricey.

Don't even go there.

Anyway, it's not just "he's played test football", it's "he got selected for pretty much every test, usually in the starting line-up, despite being only aged 19-20 and with the Kiwis usually having a strong forward pack"

Yeah I could see how the Warriors might have been a little pissed off when Anderson decided to leave after giving him his start in the NRL at only 18. They probably saw him as a big part of the future. Hopefully he has a good couple of years in England and comes back to us in his prime.

I don't have a problem with how Anderson was treated. He has shown no loyalty to the club, and is taking the big $ far too early in his career.

He was a Junior Kiwi captain, so somebody must have thought a lot about him. I actually thought quite a bit of him but this year his temper got the better of him. Having said that, I would like to see a bit of his aggression transplanted into a few of our other players.

It was actually Tony Benson that thought he was captain material.......and he was
sacked by the Leigh Centurians

What did he expect? Put yourself in Ivan's position: you've got a choice between two guys who offer largely similar talents (Lui and Wai), one of whom is staying with the team and one who is leaving, of course you're going to go for the guy who is a long term option.

because Louis has ALWAYS been a first-grader
I think thats it right there. He got a first grade spot early on and everyone just assumed he was a first choice first grader when he really hasn't proved it. I could be wrong but hasn't his test selection been largely because he can play hooker and we have obviously seriously lacked there in recent times.
