Its that time of the year where we the LU posters, rate other LU posters in the categories provided.

The posters can be from anywhere in this forum not just the NZ board but they have to be actual LU posters.

Like the Warriors themselves I always clock off for half the year, starting from now (although I'll watch this thread to the end). I joined the forum in 2012 when it struck me that I'm following this club alone. I had no Warriors mates to share stories with during the season. That changed the moment I found this place.

I like a footy-free summer but I do check in here to catch the goss and I appreciate those that keep the place ticking over until the season starts. I'll see you all again for round one in March. I'm not religious but, until then, may god bless and adios...it was a pleasure. Have a great off-season.

1. Billy T James Award for funniest poster: Zero ("I've played with rapists, murderers, psychos, & thieves...") Well, that's either a famous Cher song or rugby league in NZ.
   
2. 60 Minutes Award for best thread: 'FO Kearney', after last year's 'Who replaces Cappy?' I was waiting for the dam to burst, it came after another disgraceful performance mid-to-late season.
   
3. D.K.S.L (Doesnt Know Shit About League) Award for the worst poster: Mr Angry, although I have no hostility towards him. It's just that Stacey is in no way ready to coach first grade.
   
4. Stone Cold Award for fairest poster: Phil and the game-day thread, it's great camaraderie.
   
5. Mr Bean W.U.M (wynd Up Merchant) Award (anyone who pisses you off): Not sure about this one, I ignore the Iron Lion, so he doesn't piss me off, but from what I do pick up from his posts (when replied to by other posters) he's quite the antagonist. Was he the one who jumped on the forum within minutes of Johnson going down in 2015, and put the boot in?
   
6. Golden Point Award (for any poster that goes that extra mile to do things around our NZ board): ozbash is number one. He sent me the whole broadcast of Warriors v Tigers semi in 2011, my favourite ever Warriors moment. I thought I'd never get the chance to get a copy of that. I'll watch it at least twice a year now, to remind myself of what we once were, and could be again. Rich for 'modding', PW & JJ for keeping it real, VVVrulz did good with the weekly results, and Meth was his usual great self with the 3-2-1 thread. Cold Roses with NSW Cup.
   
7. 2017 Warrior Award best poster: Too tough. I don't like giving out this award because it's about the whole bunch. However, we sort of have to give an answer so I'm going with R&S, he's the only one I've met in person and we became friends at NSW Cup games, which he then reported on with tremendous grassroots journalism. The NSW Cup made my season.

1. Billy T James Award for funniest poster: Iron Lion, he's just not aware of it - long way to go to catch the Haynetrain though - or Oz, master of the three word post - and HM to Angry - just the one joke and like Lion doesn't seem to understand it was funny once
2. 60 Minutes Award for best thread: FO Kearney - easy, and the title and post #1 was enough
3. D.K.S.L (Doesnt Know Shit About League) Award for the worst poster: meh, it's a great forum, everyone adds something
4. Stone Cold Award for fairest poster: I'll go beaver... he has the advantage of being more objective than the rest of us
5. Mr Bean W.U.M (wynd Up Merchant) Award (anyone who pisses you off): see 3
6. Golden Point Award (for any poster that goes that extra mile to do things around our NZ board): Rich, Meth
7. 2016 Warrior Award best poster: Too many - Blair, Beaver, PW, Meth, R&S, Phil, Cold Roses, Skinner,the list goes on... not easy to pick one, at the risk of copping out will go beaver again - his more dispassionate view gives him advantage this year I think

Horrible season like many since Ivan left, and probably the next couple - and like many I get a bit dark on it but this forum is pretty accepting of a range of views, and robust debate - we don't always agree but most don't take offence

Rumor Mill for me. Mix always on the $$$ plus everyone else posting what they have heard made it my go to thread especially after a season from hell.

Not being big headed but ill vote myself. The game reviews for the ISP team when they played in Oz got some great feedback from everyone in here. Which i really appreciated to cheers guys. With your guys feedback at the start i set up a facebook page and thats going well as well.

Im going to say all the regulars that post here are the best, especially for the shit the 1st grade team dished out for us to watch

1. Billy T James Award for funniest poster: Iafeta hands down always cracks me up - Cleary and his "5 star chicken laksa from chicken kaka" was my post of the year. HM ozzie who can always be relied on for a chuckle. Lion's sense of humor is akin to Mark Richardson (that's not a compliment).
2. 60 Minutes Award for best thread: FO Foran was fun.
3. D.K.S.L (Doesnt Know Shit About League) Award for the worst poster: Lion, deliberate or not, needs fresh material. Good thing he wasn't around most of the year, for HayneTrain's Gilchrist, Lion is Matt Wade.
4. Stone Cold Award for fairest poster: Too many to pick, Phil, PW and Rich generally talk common sense.
5. Mr Bean W.U.M (wynd Up Merchant) Award (anyone who pisses you off): Lion.
6. Golden Point Award (for any poster that goes that extra mile to do things around our NZ board): Usual suspects are Rich, R&S and Meth + Phil, Blair, Zero and Cold Roses for keeping the game day threads chugging along
7. 2016 Warrior Award best poster: There are way too many class posters here and picking a single one would only do injustice to the dozen or so. It's a great forum.

Like to thank Rich, R+S Phill and Meth for the work they've consistently put in... it makes this a cool place to enjoy all footy.

2. 60 Minutes Award for best thread: That Rumor Mill thread is going alright Must have been started by someone of incredible class...

4. Stone Cold Award for fairest poster: Too many to mention, Alot of us are fair, our opinions may differ but many are fair. Unable to call it down

Mr Bean W.U.M (wynd Up Merchant) Award (anyone who pisses you off): Whoever that was calling out Beavers Headgear for coming onto our forum, tbh, I can't even remember the persons name so it's probably just a one off thing. Maybe Iron Lion, but this year hasn't been as bad as previously so that may be a bit unfair. Can I say Zero for not making enough awards! Wheres the Underrated award, Most likely to be PM award, Most likely to lick a lemon award. Come on!
6. Golden Point Award (for any poster that goes that extra mile to do things around our NZ board): Meth for me, does what he does and doesn't complain. I may not have done the 3-2-1s often this year, but I certainly appreciate having the effort put into it.
7. 2016 Warrior Award best poster: Well, first off, we're in 2017! Secondly, I'm going to cop out and not give this to anyone. This award for me, goes to the whole community. As I've mentioned in a thread earlier this year, look at most of our Joined Date and you'll find most are over 10 years or approaching it. It's the community that keeps me coming back, not one individual.

1. Billy T James Award for funniest poster: @Iron Lion with his comebacks when he's getting dissed for his beliefs and his lies. At least he keeps coming back and it's good to have a different perspective no matter how absurd it may sound to a majority. @ozbash too, I just find his posts funny sometimes.
2. 60 Minutes Award for best thread: I spent a lot of time reading and posting on both FO Foran and FO Kearney. I was defending Foran on his FO and Kearney we all seem to agree on, most of us anyway. So FO Kearney for me.
3. D.K.S.L (Doesnt Know Shit About League) Award for the worst poster: My man @Mr Angry , please dont get Angry but far out man, when you're drunk, you post some crazy stuff. I know you know the game but had to give this award to someone. Put me down on yours if you do one and call it even.
4. Stone Cold Award for fairest poster: @Beavers Headgear - we lost a game to Manly this year and my blood pressure was boiling. I hated everything Manly and then this guy of all people comes in with an opinion that I didn't like. Anyway, I vented on him and he was pretty cool throughout my outbursts, so hence Beaver. Easy to be cool when your team wins though.
5. Mr Bean W.U.M (wynd Up Merchant) Award (anyone who pisses you off): Izz - I know he hates me too so he's always Mr Bean to me.
6. Golden Point Award (for any poster that goes that extra mile to do things around our NZ board): @Rich102 in the forum and @RHYTHM AND STEALTH who actually does work around the Warriors!
7. 2017 Warrior Award best poster: I know I only said 2 and I was surprised others chose more than that but now when I go to write down mine, I see why. I've liked so many different posts from different posters that I want to pick more. I probably got the record for giving out the most likes, theres been that many for me. Top 2 would be @JJ and @KeepingTheFaith. HM: Blair, Stealth, Beaver, Rich, jase, Iafeta, Fufu, Space, ShaunH, Penrose11, Penrose Warrior, Mixer, oz, vvrulz and my man Phil.

2. Jones isn't necessarily NZ's greatest player - he's in the discussion, but it's not the fact you seem to assume.
