I didn't even realise Denilson was playing until the I saw him walk off at half time. It looks like even his team mates think he is sh*t and don't pass him the ball.

Almunia and Denilson shouldnt be in the first team.

Nasri needs to do something decent, Clichy has been sh*t for a while now.

i would almost prefer to see Campbell at centreback and Gallas at Leftback.

He wasn't the best, true.

I wouldn't move him though, give him time. Nani was in a purple patch and the Villa game was his first back.

I have had enough of watching Clichy kicking crosses to no one and giving up possession cheaply.

What happened to Clichy? Did the likes of Fabregas, Rosicky before le injuries and Hleb make him look good? Deadset I though he was one of our best players a few seasons ago.

Denilson needs to go back to Brazil. Wenger needs to f**ken splurge some money if we are ever going to be a REAL chance at the title or even just bringing any trophies to Highbury.

Come on now. I'm sure Sol Campbell is still a quality defender...

he is.

which is why i suggested him as centre back and Gallas moving to left back.

its a pity gibbs is injured, since clichy is suffering from lack of form/coming back from injury and traore is just not upto it.

haha what about Gerrard, took a couple of dives as usual but always gets the free kick, anyways a much needed victory for us and it keeps us within a sniff of the top 2

Only saw one dive in that match, some League Two-standard bloke by the name of Bendtner.

Both teams played very sloppy imo. it was so boring and it was really frustrating to see. but ill take the 3 points in any way as a few occasions Arsenal play pretty good and get beaten

When did Fabregas become such a cheating merkin? Hope he breaks his leg the wanker.

Got any evidence to back that up?

Gerard is noted as one of the lightest on his feet in the league, that's a fact.

Bendtner hasn't played in months and from memory did find a fair amount of space behind the Scouse defence. Which included a off target shot, a ball deflected almost off the line and it was his holding up of the ball that led to Rosicky's goal-scoring cross.

My favourite moment of the game was when Arshavin out muscled that cat Carragher. Despite being 400 kilos lighter and thirty feet shorter.

Maintaining the positive theme, Chamakh has apparently signed to pre-contract terms with Arsenal :

A decent signing. He's tall, strong, with decent pace and technique and knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. I read a stat that listed him as #1 in headed goals in all European leagues last season. It's well noted that we lack any dominance in set pieces and in the air generally.

His deliberate handball speaks for itself. As does his pathetic timewasting as Liverpool were lining up the free kick, by kicking the ball backwards. He did something similar at a previous free kick.

His actions were outside the laws of the game and designed to give his team an unfair advantage, the very definition of cheating.

Bit hard to stay on your feet when you've got that fat f**k Diaby blocking you. Clearly should have been a penalty.

He found so much space that he tripped over it and earnt himself a booking. Cheating merkin, although it seems to be the norm for Arsenal players.

Carragher's on his last legs, won't disagree with you there.

The time-wasting by Arsenal was absolutely pathetic today. From feigning injury when Liverpool were on the attack so as to have the game stopped, to blatant diving, to deliberate handballs it was all on display today.

Bunch of cheats and nothing more.
