I'm planning to do ratings again this season following every match, rating players 0 to 10 in accordance with the old RLW system. I prefer this to 3-2-1 as all players get points and its a fairer result. 3-2-1 favours playmakers over hard workers. Since a few people showed interest last year, others wanting to join in are free and welcome to do so. You don't have to use the RLW ratings method if you don't want, some people might not even know of it. Just a rating between 0 and 10 inclusive (no fractions, these will be rounded down) for each player who takes the field will be fine. I'll keep a spreadsheet and might even give progressive updates.
Just a couple of things-
1. Please post your ratings in this thread. Makes them easier to find.
2. Panthers fans only please.
3. Ratings for each match will close when the next one opens, which will be around kick off time or when the first post for the following round is made. If you post ratings for round 1 in the middle of round 6 posts, this will be very confusing.
4. When calculating the Panthers Player of the Year, only the best 20 ratings for each player will count, plus one for each final we play.
5. Don't post anything but player ratings in this thread after round 1 kickoff (you can post to say you're in).
