I don’t not like the guy, he’s a gem.
But he leads by example, and doesn’t seem to get others to follow him.
I think Luai, will lead by example and demand they follow him.
I hate the idea of co-captains.

The thing I'd add to your (fair) point is that while JL wasn't captain...or even co captain ..apart from perhaps a few shorthanded games at penrith he was acknowledged by many as the onfield and off field energy generator of that club. Maybe promise him the captaincy after Api retires...unless of course the NRL has a problem with that as well!.

I agree. I want to see them have a red hot go this season. I reckon our squad can compete with most teams in the comp.

Can Benji get them playing well ? I think they like Benji though.

I get the feeling, Jerome will have a big part to play in the coaching and plays.
I don't think Benji will ignore his vast experience. Be crazy if he does.
