How badly, is it a few weeks do you think?Luc got injured in ISP yesterday
Host was injured too recently??
Luciano is a works in progress. Takes time. With Origin on the way it appears certain that we will be losing players to the squad. I would not be panicking too much. He will be needed at some stage so game time at the right time plus time in ISP seems to be his go. Perseverance is what is required . Sele ,Host and Laurie will make it .

Spot on, Luc needs much more time in NSW ISP Cup to build on his existing skills and mental toughness, too high risk in first gradeSIR LANCELOT , a agree with you to a point - he is indeed a work in progress - however in such a close , very close competition as we have in 2018 , no team can afford the luxury of giving latitude of any type to their opponents.
All 17 players chosen for the top grade must have the ability to do the job at hand , no team can carry an inexperienced player as the risk is too great . You only need to look at that ' lazy ' passing attempt on Friday nights game .
All the hard work by the Dragons to keep the rabbits at bay was nearly undone and also the 2 competition points that went with it . In saying that I still believe that Luciano has tremendous potential, but right now he is a bit of a liability in these extremely tight matches .

LL is an interesting case.
Yes he has talent and normally that talent would transpire to a permant first grade spot. However, he's a big boy that needs game fitness rather than training fitness. 10 mins here and there (1 game didnt get on if i remember) doesnt equate to being on-song when required. IMO, this is what we saw on Friday night. A guy not match fit, struggling with the pace of the game, yet at the same time trying to impress.
He needs game time but thecquestion is where? ISP, whilst the standard is good its a big jump from there to 1st grade especially with the pace. Keep him on the bench in 1st grade equals what we saw and you cant fompare him with say Mann due to their body sizes and weight.
I understand McGregor leaving him on but it nearly backfired on us but again he needs the game time.
At this stage, and given he picked up an injury yesterday a stint in ISPcwouldn't go astray.
Host should be slotted in in his place but will he suffer the same fate at LL?
Am I the only one who thinks Sele could be a quality edge forward?
For now, Host will do to replace Leilua.. Definitely think Luch needs a couple of rounds in ISP.
But I feel like if Sele could make the transition to the edge, he would have a lot of impact off the bench.
Agree, many skills and could do a real good job.Am I the only one who thinks Sele could be a quality edge forward?

He probably could. But IMO his future lies in the middle, specifically at 13. I worry that having JDB in the team means that he wont realise that future here. But we'll see.Am I the only one who thinks Sele could be a quality edge forward?

Luc looked like a boy amongst men playing the Rabbits, a very BIG boy I'd admit, but he looked nervous, tentative and intimidated. The tackle he fell off was poor for a man of his size and his attempted pass was careless, albeit not the only one in the game, but in the last five minutes of the game, nooooo. He has potential but seems to lack belief. Friday will not help him. In a way, provided its not too serious, his injury may be a god send. Dropping him would have emphasised his failure so, if we believe he has a future that matches the money he is on and the interest shown by other clubs, I would have picked him on the bench again against the Sharks and would have had my heart in my mouth every time the Sharks ran at him.
