Shane Perry winning a premiership with the Broncos in 2006. Chris Heighington won premierships with two different clubs, 11 years apart. Although at times underrated.

I know this goes against the intended spirit of the OP because the player I’ve picked had unquestionable talent. Andrew Ettingshausen was blessed with stunning looks, stunning talent and boofed Elle Macpherson. Kissed on the dick literally by God himself. Luckiest merkin ever.
Apparently he can will fish onto his hook as well. No bait needed. Might have been the same talent used on The Body.

Damn fishing shows. They're all the same except the location changes occassionally. Throw in a line then BANG! Within 30 seconds someone will hook onto a six kg snapper.

Put me onto a fishing show and I will demonstrate the fine art of catching SFA.

Scott Fulton, or Brett.

It doesn't matter which one, neither get anywhere near a FG side without their old man being the coach.

Out of the coach's sons ...

Scott Minto > Nathan Cleary > Scott Fulton > Jarrad Anderson > Ben Anderson > Brett Fulton

Nah....she turned me off.

A good friend of mine did a bikini photo shoot with her for Sports Illustrated magazine. MacPherson did nothing but whinge for five days straight.

Bermuda hasn't been the same since.
Your friend got to photograph models for a living?

Nice.

Melanie was a model, not a photographer. Russian born actually. Her parents changed her and her two sisters and brother's surname to something other than that of an infamous KGB spy.

David "Wolfman" Williams.

Say no more.....

And to those who mentioned Steve Menzies....wash your mouth out.

With battery acid.
Menzies was a good edge player who could hit a hole. I guess the lucky part came with the fact he was dropped into the same team as Cliff Lyons. He just seemed to run the lines that Cliffs liked his outside men to run. Not saying Menzies wasn’t a great player. Think of it like Steve Simpson running the lines Joey liked.

An example of an ordinary player being made to look good under this technique, think Shannon Hegarty. Once Freddy retired he looked Harold Matthews Cup quality, yet when Freddy played Hegs got into the Qld team.

Martin Lang was awesome to watch, that hair going haywire at the point of impact. The definition of running hard and straight.

Lachlan Maranta deserves a mention somewhere here.
bangers was definitely no plodder. Watching him chase down rod wishart in origin was spectacular. Throw everything he had at the defence, was the attacking equivalent of dallas johnson was to defence.

How he ended up as a strength and conditioning coach at Gold Coast United aleague franchise is a mystery.

I can't remember which absolute plod it was for but when the all stars started there was an online movement to get him into the side to take the piss out of the whole system. Then the nrl changed it up a bit to prevent this from happening. Then after that bennet brings maranta into the side..........
