Are you crying?
Dude. Seriously? Don’t give your mobile number out to strangers. I thought you were young and that proves it.
If you really want to find me I live just north of Cairns. Probably not worth the effort though...chill out eh?

Yay more player bashing

congrats brooksy. May not be popular with the fans but 150 NRL games is a great achievement

Yep. 80 mins round 1 is a fair indication of how his 2021 will go

Thanks guys I enjoyed that

However, The above looks like two opposite opinions about Brooks...Grrrrr. More likes?

BTW during the 2018 and ‘19 seasons whenever Brooks attempted the 5th tackle, “repeat set” kick, 5-15m out in the last 5 minutes, when there’s real pressure, when a half proves his worth/ or lack of he ALWAYS fkd up WITHOUT FAIL..

...and your team of Brooks supporters is dwindling

I can’t believe there are Brooks supporters at all.
Our return on investment is beyond pathetic with him.

It’s been very wet here in Sydney so tonight I used the snow mode on the car:

It was pretty good.

If Keary is barely 20% on, he’s going to destroy Brooksy.

The solution seems to be to replace him with Jock just before scheduled 150th.

Just before he runs out, he can be diverted to a quiet room with Hartigan and Pascoe for 80 minutes to discuss his future if he keeps pumping us.

It might be the wake-up call he needs.

He was supposed to take control last week....

I finally lost patience with him during the middle of last season....Ive given up all hope of him being a good first grader. I just want him out.
I was good until last week... the merkin couldnt even kick a ball through stationary witches hats.... does my f**king head in. Least show you have improved in the basics ffs!... he hasnt mastered a grubber in all these years is pretty bad

Congratulations to Brooksy. He could have went elsewhere to ply his trade twice. Firstly when the rest of the big four f**ked off and again after he won the Dally M halfback of the year and was in contention for player of the year.

But both times he stuck loyal. The first time taking a pay cut so Cleary could have the chance to fill the gaps left with quality players and build a side capable of going deep into the finals. Instead, Ivan hands out fat contracts to his stable mates before promptly buggering off to Penrith leaving our cap and roster stuffed again.

Now Madge is having another crack at doing what Cleary failed to do and after a couple of misfires like Jennings and playing Doueihi at fullback, he's starting to build some depth and get some quality players in key positions as well as building a succession plan.

We've had one game against a premiership contender with a makeshift five eighth and after not being able to wrestle the game back on his own after a diabolical run of play early in the second half, it seems like every man and his dog is calling for his head. Things don't look much better next week against the Roosters who have had the wood on us for as long as I can remember, but I'm sure Madge will have a bit more patience than most of the people on this forum.

Now I'm not saying Brooks is going to bust out and prove all the haters wrong, but one thing I will say is this: Those of you who reckon Jock Madden would have done any better than Brooks last week are absolutely having yourself on. Madden was completely outplayed in trials by Volkman, a player nobody had heard of. A bloke way down in the pecking order at the Roosters who has Lachlan Lam, Sam Walker and Drew Hutchinson ahead of him. Maybe we should be looking a Volkman instead.

Brooks can grubber as good as anyone ..He can grubber sideways without even looking, perfectly. As u kind of referred to He did one for Roberts try in the trial against manly..Fkn beeaaauuutifull. The problem he has is in full colour if U watch “that kick” on Sunday with the perfect camera angle like you are Brooks kicking it.. (I think a bit too far off the ground for a grubber I can’t remember now? ) Anyway have a look and its like looking into his brain...When he feels pressure which can come and go for him at anytime through a game the time frame, what he can see , the urge to change tactics in a split second because that won’t work now gets all mangled..He saw the gap for that kick ...there was a gap there but it was way too far away and too far to his right He had a split second look and he needed to pull out but he couldn’t because for him THERE IS/WAS A GAP was enough so he just kicked anyway ..That’s Brooks ..there’s prob 20 variations of that fault in his brain that we see when he feels that pressure and none of them are pretty
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it

I held out for him ages, one of his most ardent supporters, I’ve just got to the point where I think he’s had a good go at it and he’s unlikely to recover his game. If I’m wrong, that’s ok, but if we are serious about changing our fortunes, we need a quality half. Brooksy is barely factory atm and I’m inclined to think he’s on a bad run.

Even if he carves up the roosters, he can’t play his 150th every week.

But I appreciate your support of him and if he goes, he leaves with honour.

Ive had some recent experience working in a control room for a very large building. When I started and for a while after when ure in the hot seat the boss is listening, the pressure of the situation can suddenly hit u and u need to see hear and react accordingly..I struggled for a bit in that learning period. This happened so often I decided to monitor what I could actually see while the pressure blew up compared to normal times ..I noticed that literally I couldn’t see most of what was in front of me eg a list of floors and the north or south stairwell doors u need to unlock because someone’s card isn’t working only if they are in the system and only if they have that access on their card etc what was in plain site on that list just vanished when the panic set in..(which obviously didn't help) u get over it and become more confident eventually but Brooks may just not be able to get passed that?

Change the dynamics of the team after a 10-15 minute lapse where Canberra piled on 3 tries...yeah righto

name me one player that has been consistently good over the last 5 years?

Brooks lives rent free lol
