As i said earlier. Anasta should not play alongside Brooks. He's a bucket of cold water to Brooks' fire.

Slow, ineffective, limited skill, no commitment. We looked better with J Mo in the halves. He was a shit half, but he always had a f**king dig. You could never question his effort.

Austin would be welcomed in the halves. He carved up the Cutters on the weekend scoring three tries. He has a great dummy pass. If Braith has a concern with injury, Austin has shown he can play well in the halves.

Just watched the highlights - Based on his attacking ability Austin will need to be seriously considered sooner rather than later. Only hesitation is that it may provide opposition sides with two players at which to send big forwards (Brooks being the other one). But all teams have a 6 and / or 7 that can be targeted and they work on ways (minders) to minimize it. Brooks will end up OK imo because he's got a bit of ticker and he's smart. As for big T......defensively - DEFINITELY NOT ready. Yep he scores one but his positional play and his defensive reads need a lot of improvement

We used to be able to hide Lui behind Fulton and Benji behind Ellis

That was when we were successful.

Now we only have Fulton and take your pick of whichever other back rower, but they're all worse defenders than Fulton or Ellis. We need defensively strong backrowers and strong attacking front rowers on the field and especially, on the bench.

We've always needed that.

Austin defended on the wing only after getting worked over and needing a breather. Was not exploited at all

Anasta was utter garbage. How anyone thought he was going to somehow improve over the off season is beyond me. He was finished last year, this year he is just a joke. I wanted Austin from day 1.

Oh and Patterson moved liked an 80 year old. Worst game I've seen in a long time.

If we let the Dragons run in 40+ points I shudder to think what the rest of the season holds for us.

I held the hope that maybe his long kicking game would be useful. Turns out I was wrong. Pretty much every facet of his play was left wanting, especially his 5th tackle options. Not sure where we go from here. Austin must be a chance to take his spot very soon but there are few other options if he doesn't work out.

Totally agree , I havnt been expecting him to be the daly m player of the year but I had hoped with all his experience he could at least provide some composure to the side and provide direction when needed . But he fails to even be capable of undertaking the simplest tasks such and general field kicks or reading an overlap , to be totally honest you would not even know he was on the field his contribution is so low.

All this shows to me we desperately need to get some back rowers with grunt in attack and damn good defence. Don't know who may come through juniors but we need a few next year. We can not and should not rely solely on Fulton. He is getting on, is small and doesn't dominate.

Jeez, it's bad luck we lost Dwyer and Ellis went back to ESL. Blair has been a waste of space and effort.

Anasta needs a kicking coach...we dont have one Im led to believe....another area the club is behind in.
The ball sounds half deflated when he kicks it....doing something seriously wrong

You can't say that the kick for Tedescos try wasn't classic Joey Johns.
I can see now why the two were being compared years ago before we saw him.

Its amazing what our young guns can do whem the forwards rip in like they did today. I swear that Galloways presence lifted our pack. He is one mean motherf**ker.

Really liking Tupau, big and mobile, really good coming off the bench
