Very true but his stats are the same every week. Very poor. I haven't based my opinion on 1 game, he's been very poor for two years now.

I think we're just lucky Luke Burt wasn't bombed out of the game. If we can play every week against teams that fail to build pressure - like the Tigers did last night - then it won't matter who's defending at fullback and Hayne can wear whatever jersey number you like.

You mustn't remember the absolute fail-train of Luke Burt defensive shockers at fullback.

I've admitted he attacks well at fullback but the position requires more than attacking skill.

without referring to any specific posts - because i made a pact with myself that i would no longer do so with certain posters, or at least one - i clearly remember Luke Burt having difficulties with his defence playing fullback, but i think he has improved in that aspect since then and i think that weakness is more than offset by the positives he brings to the game
