Relax guys hes not that big of a loss. (As long as he is replaced). Hodgsons kicking is not that bad and we can settle on it for the time being. Sure, sometimes you get an extra two points because of him, but in reality - you can also loose points... (E.G - Johns throws a cutout pass and the Tigers winger flys onto it. Would you prefer it to be Covell who could run 20m before being run down or Donald\Richards\Moodie who would all in most cases go all the way.)

The only real loss The Tigers have ever had is Villasanti. Why he left, was a mistake bye the club, however it was four years ago, we should have moved on from that. Sallehs move has never haunted us. Whether he plays first grade or not, hes not someone who will come back to bite us on the backside. Withers? I loved Withers, but hes playing with one of the most talented teams in the premiership. At the Tigers he would not provide anything extra we dont already have.

Not a big loss IMO either..sure he's a good goal kicker, but you need more then a good boot to play 1st grade a dont think he ever took his chances.

first of all, covell is not the kicker he was 18 months ago or 12 months ago or 6 months ago.

this year he has kicked at 70%
hodgson is at 76% and everyone was complaining about him,although he was kicking at 65% at the time.


on covell ability wise,i actually think he will be a late bloomer once he finds his niche in the forwards.
one thing i have always liked about him is that he won't give you 2 bad games in a row.
i think the big problem with him at the tigers is that we don't have the dollars to develop him properly.
we have so many players on the average line that some have to go to free up dollars to try and buy class players.

where the problem lies is if they use his dollars and turn around and buy another average player and go through the whole process again.

i also hope that every cent goes towards props.
i don't give a stuff about tahu,donald or monaghan,i want big f**kers to clear a path for the rest of the team to use their own speed.
