whatever happend to samia? last i saw he was on the bench for balmain.. is he ever going to step up to first grade? a few people had some raps on him.. and if they were to come to fruition he'd be a great asset to the back line if we were to replace covell..
i like covell and think that he isn't as dangerous in attack as most of us would like him to be.. but he's only just came back from premier league where he was playing 2nd row for quite sum time.. like last year he'll get better with each game he plays

i didnt see more than 40% of last nights game, but i thought luke was ok. I wanted him for his goal kicking, but i dont think luke duffy is the answer, he was terrible against the roosters

Why wasn't he goalkicking? He's supposed to be the new goalkicking prodigy. He's useless in every other way, has no pace. May as well drop him for someone who CAN play.

Samia is playing ok in Premier League. But he is in no way about to be called up to first grade.Id say Ben Carney is playing alot better than Samia. If they are looking for another,Carney wouldnt be the worst option.

Am I the only one who thinks Covell was pretty good last night?

He is certainly no where near as bad as some of you are making him out to be.

Apart from that one drop ball, he was solid, hit the line hard and tackled pretty well.

After every game everyone wants to keep changing the team. We need stability. Until Richards come back, Covell will stay in first grade and rightly so.

Luke was okay but for me I want more than safe ... I want dynamic. Like Ross Conlon without his kicking he is struggling to make the side

EXACTLY he may be safe. But safe is o.k if you contribute in other ways.
Like for example goal kicking which he is'nt doing. #-o

I`d like to see Covell make the grade, but it`s definately not going to be as a winger. As good as Hodgo`s playing I don`t think Covell reads him or helps him out enough when returning kicks!

I think Covell is our safest option at the moment until Richards gets back. He was solid last night and 2gb thought he fitzhenry caused the dogs a lot of problems last night too.

To me it seems people have to look for a negative in everyone of our games. for me the only negative out of the game was our first 10 mins, the rest was damn great!

He is our safest option. He isn't the most vibrant winger going around, but he does his job and does it well. Max who would you rather have? Kenny?

covell was his usual self last nyte.. he's not a dynamic player.. but he is safe.. everyone expects just because you play first grade you cant make a mistake and you have to go out there and set the world on fire.. the guy hasnt even played 20 first grade games has he?
sheens said it himself that the young guys have to get at least 50 under their belt before you can really judge their worth.. obviously sum players will never make 50 cause you can just tell they wont cut it.. but covell is a good player.. he too is still learning.. he cmae into the top grade after playing in the centres and he found his feet on the wing and played every game with a bit of improvement on the last.. this year he got stuffed around and had to learn a new position again in 2nd row.. then when he gets a call up that all get's thrown out the window and he's back on the wing.. it's not like he had a big shocker and cost us so many tries and gave away so many penalties that he cost us the game..

I know Dean Collis has been injured, but noticed he was back playing on the weekend.I keep visualising him carve up Willie Tonga all day when they opposed each other in the Premier League semi Wests Vs Parra last year at Penrith Stadium last year.He is a star in the making and I hope it`s not long before he`s a regular in the 1st team.Surely he`s a better option than Covell on the wing although Dean does prefer playing in the centres.

I would love to keep the same team that we had against the Bulldogs bar Scotty Prince coming back into the side. It would not surprise me to see Kerr and Prince play in the halves put Benji in the centres and move Fitzy to the wing and drop Covell. I hope this doesnt happen as much as Kerr deserves his spot I would like to see Prince take his spot and and Covell retain his wing

with the likes of prince kerr marshall fitzy--we need a bit of size in the backline and covell offers just that--okay not a flashy player, but usually pretty safe. Will get better with more games and will be handy when hogo has an off day with the boot.Dont for get hogo has had ten in row from close to the sticks--his height also offers some saftey in the cross field bomb--worth keeping to pat the flash is back.No real obvious replacment at this stage-and big luke might suprise,in a team that is starting to show some attack
