1997, to be exact. One of my mates, after a relationship ended, would get drunk and listen to that song. He said he'd get really depressed. I've never been in his situation but I can understand how you would.

Nah, seriously though - all the songs he's written I really like. "Iris", "Black Balloon", "Name", "Better Days"...Some of the Dolls' biggest hits came from his mind.

I think it's a shame everyone only speaks of them when they mention "Iris" or "Slide". They had so many great songs.
