Do you honestly think that they only shook his hand because you think they thought he was mentally disabled?

Wayne Bennett's treatment of the media has always come accross a little arrogant, that interview showed the total opposite. Seems like a great man who lives and breathes football.

Was good to see a footy show about footy, not a half arsed comedy with the occasional reference to league.

I always respected him even when he was Broncos coach, as much as I hated his team. One of the true legends of the game.

The serious league show from 9 that we have all been screaming for, its a shame about the time slot and the fact it came on with only 2 weeks remaining in the football year.

I am still yet to see the wayne bennet story that was on ABC, people that have seen it think it is fantastic.

The guy is a joy to listen to, the only couple of radio interviews i have heard from him have been riveting. He makes no excuses, and has more to give this game, then just about any other person alive or dead.

And i agree 100% on his views about how RL turns lives around, i was on a fast track to jail as a young bloke, drugs girls, booze violence ect. My coaches were the ones that taught me respect, the game taught me discipline, and the friends i made will last a lifetime. I didnt make the top grade but i have done alright for myself in business and other areas of life, it is because of League, i have no doubt, the greatest game of them all.

This Breen fella doesn't even write league anymore, I think he used to way back in Sunday mail days.

Piss him off and put someone there who has played or coached before.

As much as I can't stand him on the radio, I think Bozo Fulton would be good on a serious show like this. When he talks seriously about the game (which is rare these days) he is good to listen to.

A nuffy telecrap sports editor gives the show no credo at all.

Masters is my first preference, but someone like a SERIOUS fulton would be good. I'd say Graeme Hughes as well, but he's no show with Rayyy there.

This show must continue next year.

Unfortunately I didn't watch the show because of the time slot! For someone who has to wake up at 5am every morning it's hard to stay up that late... Should be on at 9.30pm! I'm spewing I didn't watch it now after reading some of the posts here

You can't be serious...

Bozo is the biggest turd in rugby league. He is everything that is wrong with NSW footy and he is completely incapable of not pushing the manly barrow at every opportunity.

I was very impressed with Hadley's input last night, and have no doubts that the reason he was able to speak so eloquently and intelligently about the game was that he didn't have to carry Fulton.

I agree that the telegraph writer should probably be replaced, although I'm happy to give him a go because he seemed to know what he was talking about when he could get a word in, and it would also give Rothfield an ulcer knowing that his boss is conversing with the enemy :lol:
