Gotta love this guy.

Brooks gone.

Missed 9 tackles. Go away. Not good enough.

See that bomber. Open ya ferkin eyes!
No issue.

He's also got Benji he can call up.

We've got Trindall or Tracey. One is a rookie who hasn't played a game since the trials. The other hasn't played for a while.

Or...keep on keeping on with an option we KNOW wont bring us any success.

Tracey has looked fine in his very limited opportunity.
Ran at the line. Looked busy. Cant recall his defence but would be better than chads l would guess.
And..its damn hard to come on and know you have to make an impact immediately.

Imagine the message it sends to the team if bomber drops a half and tells Tracey he has 3 weeks with no fear of being dropped.

You reckon Chad wouldnt work on his game then. Might even put TTOTT on the backburner.

Madge called up Billy Walters. He is journeyman at best but Madge has the stones to expect standards and will hold players accountable. No matter their reputation.

We get 50 put on us. No one gets dropped. Only changes are Williams dropped with Fifita to injury and Ronnie returning.

NRL site has Brooks missing 6 tackles and making 31 with an efficiency of 83%. Chad missed 8 making 19 with efficiency of 65%.

In attack Brooks had 11 runs for 82 metres with a line break assist. He got 46 SC points. Chad had 4 runs for 6 metres and no other attacking stat worth noting. He scored 6 SC points. 6 f**king points. As a half.

One player is held to account, the other not.

Chad's has played 2 good games this season against low sides. His game on the weekend was absolutely terrible. The rushing out of the line and gifting Penrith a try, blowing a three man overlap and kicking it dead are but two examples of exceptionally poor play.

It's not about dropping players for no reason. If there is no consequences for conceding 50 then when will the coach make a statement.

Trindall or Tracey might not be the long term answer but it's clear that Chad is not the answer to any question worth asking.

Game set and match.

This is exhibit A to explain why Madge is a career coach and why bombers NRL career as head coach will be at the one club.

Im still wiling to give morris a get out of jail card. He quite obviously is student of the game and has some astute judgement in developing youg plYers. Seems his weekness is in backing his judgement and making some hRd calls.Id still be willing to give him thiz season to sort it out ,especially given salery cap stuff he inherited

Definately got some big calls to make... on players he played with... tough gig!
If you go into the job knowing you will coach former teamates and you dont have it in you to make hard calls when they underperform...or when their skillset has moved on - then do everyone a favour, especially the diehard fans - dont take it on.

Madge went to the Tigs knowing they were stuck in mid table mediocrity. The goal for the club seemed to be to make the 8. That is not enough for him and he is shaking joint up until the players raise their standards to meet his.

This really is a clash of generations. The participation trophy generation want pats on the back and to told how great they are. The old school focus in results and individual accountability.

The Sharks are in a tough place to coach now. The prem window is closed. The cap is stuffed and big names don't consistently deliver. He won't get through this without making some very tough calls. If he is not prepared to make them then the tough call will be made on him.

Who knows it then? Hes definately shown some astute judgement in junipr development and general tactical shite. We are on a skimpy budget and had to take apunt
I would still give him a chance to realise its a me or you game and the toughest player has to be the coach

No doubt he has done work bringing through some talented kids. I would love for him to succeed as he genuinely cares about the club.

The Head Coach gig is vastly different coaching 20s. He is learning very quickly on the job.
