Magic moments

I nearly cried when the merkins a couple of seats over from me kept getting up every 5 minutes to either go to the toilet or get more wines during the game. Also, i'm pretty sure Michael Vella and his family sat about 2 rows in front of me...

Seeing boogs back on the field was inspirational. Not sure how he did it. Same as Lewis staying on. Watching the boys do big minutes was great

Yeah what's with that. We had some in our row who would have literally been up every ten minutes. Is sitting in your seat for a couple of hours no longer a thing?? We were so high up I was too bloody scared to stand up unless I plummeted to an untimely death...

Mine was the Matt Prior tackle on Jessie Bromwich about 3 and a bit minutes in.

Bromwich couldn't stand up straight after it and basically went missing the rest of the first half

He was Prior's bitch the whole game after that

EDIT: it was 1 min 13 seconds in. Just watching it again. For the 5th time LOL LOL

Just flicked on replay.

He hurt him big time.

I've got a couple....firstly prior/ennis tackle right on half time. Little Munster just kept his shit together walking off at half time but definitely had the wobbly boot on. Secondly when Fifi started walking onto the stage to receive his ring Flanno pretty much teared up and I faarrken well did too!

Yeah I noticed that - Flanno definitely had the old wobbly bottom lip.... Also you could see all the pain of the last few weeks and the relief he'd got through it etched on Fifita. Real emotional scenes.

What about Leutele's tackle at the end, that's the one i will remember most.
One of two crucial tackles he made in last 5 minutes..

The other was when chambers kicked and waltzed around beale.
Barba took Chambers head on and Loots made it his business to chase and double team on him.

Argh - What the feck was Beale doing on that.... Jeez he knows how to have a brain dead moment at crucial times. The Raiders ball steal and waving Chambers though on that kick chase.... nearly cost us the whole thing - TWICE

That whole last minute was sooo draining.

I was up high in line with the in goal (nth west side). Our guys were just running back and forth like crazy chickens, the storm kept off loading and we'd follow them around. Looking at the replay I think they could've gone in on the western side if they'd straightened - we were all travelling sideways.

When lutes nabbed the dude it was "finally someone's tackled someone!" Then game over!

Favourite moment was losing my shit when big feef slammed down the try. Got home, watched the replay and it only got better when noticed that old mate Cam Smith had his melon right next to it and had a front row seat to watch the GF slip away. Cop that you grubby merkin. 71 tackles but missed the one that mattered!

I have a few throughout the finals series -

Vs Canberra - Priors try just before halftime - changed the momentum of our season.

Vs Cowboys - Maloneys Intercept - knew we were off to the big dance.

Vs Storm - Ennis going and hugging the ball boys after we did it and Gallen and ET having a big enbrace that summed up what it meant for mine.

And...when chambers scored the first guy he beat one on one - Beale.
3 examples of NOT showing the urgency required. Capewell has shown he would've busted a gut in those situations.

Haha

& we didn't need to hold anyone back - would've disappointed the bunker to not find a reason to deny it.

Ill always remember The parting of the scrum by Barba, Moses eat your heart out.

IF ONLY ...... IF ONLY ..... IF ONLY ......

Minutes to go in the GF. Scrum win to the Sharks 10 metres out from their opponents tryline - their last shot at victory.

Lock Pierce picks the ball up from the base of the scrum slips it quickly to the circling Bishop who instantly flicks it back inside to a heavily concussed breaking 2nd rower Ken Maddison who unfortunately spills the pass with the tryline in view.

And there goes the Sharks golden opportunity to snatch the 73 Grand Final

A worked move that bore fruit for the Sharks all of the season

Feki took a couple of great bombs.
Matt Prior smashing Bromwich

The try from the scrum. it wasn't as good as David Peacheys in 1996 but was more important.

Andrew Fifita in general. But that try. I lost my shit

Crying at the end.
what a glorious day

The last play.......can now watch it without shitting me duds.
Watch the blue shirts running back and forth across the park like keystone cops.

Great job by Loots. One on one wraps the ball to end it.

Wow! First time I've watched any coverage after being at the game. Crying with joy again. I just can't believe it! f**king wow!

Love this team, this club. After all of the pain we've all experienced, this high is at the polar opposite end of the spectrum.

I feel so privileged to have been lucky enough to experience this. Not just this one great game, but the whole ride. Up up Cronulla!
