I'd be hesitant using the moniker of any of the big fumble clubs for any team in perth/adelaide/melbourne

If they are going for a similar thing as the Storm and being "everyone's second team", I'd imagine you'd alienate a fair chunk of potential supporters from the get go who could never bring themselves to follow a team named "magpies"

Not The end of the day but probably best to avoid if possible

Balmain are the broke ones with no license. They'd have to look at other states, not Wests

Wests Tigers has become a franchise in and of itself, and it'd be damaging to split the franchise up.

Magpies will forever be relegated to state level footy... unless they'd like to relocate to SA and become the Adelaide Magpies.
