Neither state has any f**king pride beyond their fan base. Both will pick anyone they can, no matter how tenuous their link to the state in question, to win.

The Origin series needs to include New Zealand. Not sure how the tri-series worked in Superleague, but surely it wouldn't be too hard for the NRL to adopt a similar format again? Not only does it stop these Kiwis playing for either state via loopholes, it would boost the strength of the NZ rep teams...

A) NSW constantly complaining that QLD pick ineligible players when we are just as guilty.

B) QLD always banging on about their superior, "pride & passion," when they constantly pick players who aren't QLDers to represent them.

If the laws had retrospective power, & could rub out BS artists like Inglis & Tamou, Id respect them a lot more. That would take balls though, & nowhere is Rugby League admin more lacking.
