No offense, it's a nice sentiment.

But why should we thank them for doing their jobs properly?

Do you like a word of thanks or a congratulations when you do your job properly, or do you just like to be berated when things go wrong and never have anyone say a nice word to you.
I sure appreciate it when someone tells me i've done well, because all too often people are quick to criticise and very slow coming forward with priase.

I think burt has probably got the inside running at this stage for a centre spot, alongside tahu. Peterson and grother have the wing spots wrapped up.

I can see the merit in burt coming off the bench as a utility. Given that the hooker role is now more a dummy half role these days, he one he could grow into....but he may be a bit wasted there?

This weekend Smith will pilot the side to it's second straight semi finals non-apearance. That certainly doesn't deserve coungratulations.

The hole left by Lyon, Vaealiki and Dykes salary cap meant they were always going to be strong in the recruitment department. I'm excited by the purchase of the big 4, and also not that 3 of 'em are getting over big injuries. We are expecting the best case scenario with them, and suddenly expecting that SMith's form will improve.

But Shaun, nice string of posts. I love watching the Warriors play - and wish 'em well for 2005!

Of course I do - I said I could appreciate the sentiment.

But they have ballsed up horribly in recent years, and because they have done things correctly in one year we're supposed to be jumping up and down?

Don't get me wrong - I sent them a supportive and thankful e-mail.

But still...
