I never thought I'd see that after five rounds.

Some might say it is just a slow start....but, they have a massive injury toll...especially in the backs.
Thing is, even if the pack was fully fit, they look damn slim in the prop forward area...Big Willie/Burgess are just not upto it every week.

Personally, I think they are in deep kaka. They have never won a spoon in their history...can they avoid it again?

I'll be happier when Melbourne are last!

Rules of Manly.
• Never turn your back on a wave at Manly beach....the wave will strike you unexpectedly hard.
• Never turn your back on a drunk at Manly corso...the drunk will hit you unexpectedly hard.

I hope this rule does not happen……but it will!

• Never turn your back on a clueless Manly team....they will return with vengeance unexpectedly hard.

Anyone remember 2009? Manly lost their first 4 games, were bottom of the table.

Then they went on to finish 5th, with 14 wins and 10 losses.

Bit too early to get excited about them getting the spoon...

Im surprised people think they will bounce back this year

Their 2 halves are leaving and playing like busted. Then you have Lyon, Matai and Brett Stewert who are all in the twilight. Throw in no pack and its a nightmare scenario.

I reckon they are bottom 4 morals.

So much deathriding of Manly and Melbourne over the last few years. I can't help but think the Trbojevics are the next stewarts

We have a fairly significant injury toll with almost half the starting side out through injury. So can only improve once they return. Either that or their younger replacements get more experience and improve on their performances.....

Lawrence
Starling
Matai
Lyon
Tafua/Gutherson
Mateo

Add to that Buhrer and Foran missed a week or two as well..

Its been good to see the Trbojevics in action though. Some of the tackles Jake has been laying on reminds me of Beaver :)

I know this is all very exciting for everyone but lets be serious!

It's round 5, we are missing 6 of our 17, we will get it together, might even still make the 8

We are 2 points off 9th, 4 points off 4th

No team with Stewart, Lyon, Matai, DCE, Buhrer and Ballin will win the spoon

Also the Trbojevics will only get better and better
