Great to watch the haka performed by both Storm and Warrior fans. Glad to see they were rewarded with the best team on the night winning

. . . maybe because both teams are from unfavorable parts of the league world and a win for either didn't need manipulation.

Different story for a Sydney team who will be given every chance by the powers that be to win the lollypop cup . . . no risk of a reversal of 2008

You reckon the game will be manipulated to ensure the Sydney team wins? Why?

It's clearly a Sydney conspiracy. Non-Sydney teams have only won 5 out of the 13 grand finals since the formation of the NRL.

I hate Manly with an absolute passion. But, I agree with the nrl panel here.

*The Matai challenge was very soft and probably should be given the benefit of a doubt, despite his poor record.

*While Tony's challenge was reckless, there was absolutely no intent to maim You Yeh. You should not miss a grand final for that.

However, that dog Glenn Stewart should not play. Should have got as long as Abam Blair got.

He did :? they both got three weeks for their common incident.

Thats the point missed by everyone, including Roy Masters in his rant today.

Read it now, its dribble. How about how people are "mystified" Stewart got 1 match compared to Blairs 5. I'm not mystified. Blair got two suspensions for two incidents, Stewart got one for one. Stewart had a suspension of 3 weeks, equal to or greater than either of Blairs suspensions, but his SEVEN year clean record reduced it to one. Pretty simple. Which people are mystified by this?

People just put on blinkers, whether its 'hate storm', 'hate manly', 'hate qld' and all common sense goes out the window. Its not new, but its still stupid.

I'm mystified, thought Snake should have copped a much longer suspension than anyone else. Didn't think Blair should have been gone for the season either.

It helps when everyone on the judiciary are related to Manly somehow. Grubby bastards.

Firstly, only 1 Manly player faced the judiciary so your point is largely moot.

Secondly, the judiciary panel for Glenn Stewart's case was:
Sean Garlick - St George
Michael Buettner - North Sydney
Mark Coyne - St George

Judicary chariman:
Paul Conlon - North Sydney

Yep, plenty of love for Manly there.

Idiot.

Yeah.

Northern Eagles counts as Manly though to some people.

I haven't read through the 20 pages, don't know if it has been discussed but did any of you guys hear the reasoning for Matai not being sent to the judiciary?

and Hasler thinks the NRL has an agenda against Manly..
