There were plenty of cheap shots coming from the Dogs, I saw the game with a mix of Dogs and Eagles supporters and even the Dogs fans admitted their team were playing grubbily (only after insisting Manly were playing equally as grubby).
What I want to know is how on Earth does Michael Ennis get away with talking to the refs in the way he does? He never sounds anything less than completely disrespectful and full of contempt. Say what you want about their performances this season, but they're still human beings who are just doing their job. Sure, they get it wrong sometimes, but they should never be spoken to like that. I hope he tries to talk to a higher-up or an employer like that in his post-football life and cops a serving and gets fired for it.
