SEA EAGLES NRL TEAM:
Brett Stewart
Michael Robertson
Steve Bell
Steve Menzies
Chris Hicks
Jamie Lyon
Matt Orford ©
Mark Bryant
Michael Monaghan
Brent Kite
Anthony Watmough
Glenn Stewart
Luke Williamson

Interchange
Matt Ballin
Glenn Hall
Adam Cuthbertson
Jack Afamasaga
Clint Halden (1 player to be omitted)

I wouldn't be surprised if Jason King fronts up on game day, he was pretty close to being back last week. From a Manly point of view hoping for a dry track for once to let the back 3 loose who are all very quick, Robertson 1 of the most under-rated wingers in the comp, great under the high ball. Williamson returning will be very good, he is the glue that holds the pack together. Cuthbertson entering the game provides good go forward and huge ball skills. Afamasaga should be primed for a big one back in NZ too. And then there is the champion, Menzies, can do anything on a footy field

Matchup of the day will be Stewart v McKinnon

How's Orford? (Hasn't he been injured lately?)

I kind of hope that he makes the trip and plays - for some reason I like our chances better with him in the team.

I'm looking forward to seeing Menzies in action too. It must be getting close to the last time we'll see him on a footy field over in NZ.

Warriors by 10.

Orford should be ok, was rested more as a precaution from what i understand

6 weeks ago most manly fans would have agreed, but he has really stepped up into form and his short kicking game is vauable, is also very good at running our most dangerous play, Stewart running a decoy and then finding Watmough with an overlap.

This time last year a lot of Manly fans thought that Beaver was on the decline, this year he has been almost back to his peak. Hopefully he can get his try to go past ET into 2nd this week

My main concern is what that game last night took out of Manlys legs.

Well, after all the confirmed withdrawals, we have something far different from that side

Robertson
Bani
Lyon
Menzies
Hicks
Burns
Orford/Monaghan
Bryant
Monaghan/Ballin
King
Watmough
Afamasaga
Wells

Ballin/Halden
Hall
Cuthbertson
Mauro

Orford no certainty to play, will see how he pulls up game day but if not 100% he won't play. Bani will be interesting to see, skinny bloke but reported to have real pace

Agree. To go into the finals with any confidence we need to beat Manly. But as important is how we beat them. We need to put that shambles against Canberra out of our minds. If we win we should be in 5th by the end of the round.
