Sting,

Despite some stiff competition, you are the clear winner as moron of the year.

But, let's follow your brilliant stream of thought:
To avoid any uncertainty, when the Manly club has a SEASON LAUNCH FUNCTION or other key club functions like Clubman of the Year etc, Manly should post a clear warning and disclaimer to all fans, members, sponsors and their friends and family:

WARNING
We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you. However, be aware - if you have attractive daughters or handsome sons or friends with above average looks, please do not attend OR make sure you wear full body clothing which is shapeless and sexless. The club accepts no responsibility in the event that its drunken players and/or officials verbally or physically abuse or attack your children or friends. In the event of the aforementioned offences occurring, please be cognisant of the fact that the Manly club, its players and officials consider themselves beyond the law and other accepted norms for decent human conduct.

taking your crown from last year ay? i don't think so.

once again, exaggerating and taking things to the absolute extreme and talking utter sh*t.

if you can't understand the theory of common sense and how to apply it in day to day situations then well f**k. i don't know what to say, your stupidy has left me speechless

Well, according to sting, they're women - so they're all fair game to Watmong.

I mean, honestly, if a woman goes into public carrying breasts and a vagina, then surely Watmong has the right to have a crack.

I just thought this is one of the funnier posts I have read on this forum...

Sting - I am sorry it was made at your expense...

Agree...sting...you are living in the 1930s

i want you to answer the same question i asked that other guy. do you ever go out? do you know what happens in the real world? or do you just stay at home thinking about footy.

if this was the 1930s i think the girl would've been treated with a lot more respect.

i'm living in 2009. but more importantly, i'm living in the real world

I go out plenty of times...and i dont disrespect women for the clothes they wear....i might check them out many times...but i wouldnt go up to them and say "how could you wear clothes like that....what are you...some kind of girl"
Its not like this girl wore a bikini...she wore a dress and she had some leg showing!
Doesnt give the right for players like Watf**kingmong to make poor comments at her.

ohhh man you've missed the point totally!!! go back and read my posts!

of course watmough is a f**kwit! of course he had no right to say what he did. he's a meathead and a sleaze.

my original point was her dad didn't make the wisest decision in taking his young daughter into a function with a bunch of boozed up, gee'd up footy players. lets be honest, they've never had great repuatations.....

and because a couple of people didn't get that, and because of ronnys utter sh*t talking it's turned into this crap.

and again, f**k i would never say sh*t to a girl dressed like that and i associate with girls who dress up for the city, cross etc! but my point is... there are heaps and heaps of f**kwits who would!

you really don't get what i'm saying?

No, your point is well made.
Fathers should not take out their daughters (if they're possible eye-candy) on the offchance that they will cop blatant fashion statements from drunken caveman footballers.
Further, fathers need to restrict their good-looking kids from going to malls, pubs, discos, parks, streets, avenues, lanes, schools, even football games etc because a footballer may be there and, if he sees some ankle flesh, it's GAME ON.

My point is also well made. You're an idiot.

Playing 1st grade in the NRL can set you up for life. both through the money and the contacts you make along the way. Now a bloke like Whatmough nothing will change, he will leave the game just as stupid as he arrived. He will be be doing the same stupid things in 20 years as he is doing now. The guy is a serial moron who can play football pretty good but after football he will revert back to doing what does best being a MORON. At some point clubs are going to have to blacklist the likes of Whatmough and Carney, the game dosnt need them no matter how good they are

why the f**k did the sponsor bring his 21 year old model daughter to a function filled with footy players who had access to an open bar?

i mean seriously....

It's interesting to see how much you've distanced yourself from this original post. This post pretty much implies some fault on the sponsor's part for bringing his daughter to the function. You've gone from "why the f**k did he bring her?" to "was not the wisest decision to bring her".

Are you serious? What Watmough did proves what sort of person he is. Good footy player but as a person he leaves alot to be desired.

what's so interesting about it? not the wisest thing to do is putting it mildy. but yeah i see what you're trying to get at... not the case.

put it this way, if i had a daughter, i wouldn't have taken her to that kind of function.

haha i know! when did i say watmough was a good person? by me saying her dad shouldn't have taken her to a footy function is saying what i what i think quite clearly. he's a dirtbag. obviously they all aren't, but there's definitely some bad eggs out there.

what are you trying to say here?

Tbh I would rather send my daughter to NRL footy function than down the local pub or night club. She had every right to be there and should not have had anything to worry about.

So she cant go to a "classy" establishment like the Wharf bar with a bunch of league players / sponsors / and blue chip owners.....but...would you let her go out to places like The Establishment / Tank / Ivy / Saphire?

garts and sarb

well if i had a daughter i'd be protective as and would prefer she never went out til she was 30 haha. but i think i'm gonna be a very protective father, as any real man should be.

but that's clearly not going to happen, she'd still go out anyway and there wouldn't be much i could do about it. she's go out and do her thing, etc and i'd just have to sit at home and worry. but i personally wouldn't be taking her with me to a footy function.

also, what you mean by "places like The Establishment / Tank / Ivy / Saphire?" interesting to bunch them together as they're nothing alike... have you been to any of those places? they're all fairly sh*t

Well they are popular places amongst the likes of the 18-30 age range....there are some "interesting" males that go there. Some of those can give the league players are run for their money because they dont have public scrutiny on them so they pretty much can behave pretty bad.

hmmm well ivy is more just about snorting coke and being seen.
establishment is mainly just business types. bit of a wankfest.
lol have you been to tank lately? 18 - 30? more like 17 - 20 yo northern beaches.. pretty harmless i'd say.
sapphire - yeah full of sleazy full sick types. sh*t music. hate that place.

i get what you mean though

but yeah as i mentioned before, i wouldn't be happy about my daughter going there but i couldn't do anything about it if she wanted to. but i personally wouldn't take her there... if that makes sense?
