Manly players and supporters gets the minor and major premiership for Whinging

First there was Orford, the origin has been around for 30 years and he complains that the origin should be a round by itself

then there is the supporters who claimed that they would have won (when they were thrashed by 48-18) because they were missing players, against a team who were missing as many players

Clue, there is a reason Manly is outside of the top 8 atm, and it has nothing to do with the SOO or missing players.

Teams like Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney City and St George misses players every year during the SOO, but the Manly team and their supporters seems to love to whinge and Whine about missing players

I normally will take every opportunity to put the boot in Manly but this is a joke...

Every team has supporters who whinge and complain about every loss... If it isn't the referee costing them the game, it is injuries, or SOO, or the weather.

As for the SOO being on a weekend by itself... I'm almost certain that it used to be. But either way, so what? I tend to agree that it should be on the week by itself - I would have loved to see the Dragons v Manly with both sides at full strength... Wouldn't have you?

My point is that good teams do not give excuses, they do not complain the wind was too strong, they woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning.

They just go out and play to the best of their ability with the team they had. Just like what the dogs and Dragons did on the weekend

This Manly team just like to come up with excusses after excusses, Stewart wasn't playing, so we can lose the first 5 games of the year and just blame it on Stewart not being there. Oh we were missing players during the SOO. I broke my nail during the game and was not 100%

They did not complain that they received 2 bye during the SOO and beat other teams without their best player.

i say we should kick manly out of the competition, and ban manly fans from this forum, im sure if manly beat the dragons yesturday, im 100% positive their fans wouldnt of mentioned that they had their best players out...

19-12 (with 6 of those points scored on the bell) is hardly FAIL... 48-18 is.

I think the reason people see Manly as whingers is because many of their fans won't accept that BOTH sides were impacted heavily by player injuries, origin etc... they seem to think it was only Manly who were weakened. Bottom line is, Saints have better depth than Manly, and yesterday showed that.

and he is right! i dont care for manly at all, but it is a joke that ALL teams miss out on key players because of origin. there should be no nrl games during origin time for a few reasons.

1- no team is disadvantaged by losing their best players.
2- the comp goes into a lull every year at this time. crowds slump and the games are not as high a standard.
3- it would give countries other than australia the opportunity to play rep football and test matches, which they deserve as much as us. it would help the international game immensely.

the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Hey I'm not whinging, we were outplayed by a better team with more depth, but Manly are not the first team to whinge over sh*t like this.
