Mann’s bid to stay in the NRL

I hope he stays in the top grade. After a shocker start to the year, his last few games have been quite strong and his confidence appears to have returned.

Give him another go at fullback. Give him a go in the halves. One thing's for certain, our attack can't get any worse for trying it (can it?):sarcasm:

Even if it did, I could wear it better than I can wear sticking with the same formula getting the same results week in week out.

I wasn't excited about his signing at all, although I was hoping to be surprised.

But the kid has impressed me over the last couple of weeks and deserves a spot in first grade.

I'm happy to again experiment at fullback, or even in the halves.

Shame we don't have the coaching talent to properly develop his career (or anyone else in the team).

Exactly right Milne is a out and out right centre . If he comes in it will be Aitken who will go to left centre

It looks like Mann & Lafai are starting to strike up a bit of a combo so i'd leave it for the time being. KFFL to me is the one to miss out.

Although I like Milne at center Lafai should know and play like his days
In first grade are no guarantee. Give Lafai a few more weeks.
He can defend and did a cracker pass to Mann over Melbourne.
We need a little more though!

I think Mann's skill set is wasted on the wing. He's done an admiral job there so far but I would like to see him given a go at halfback. His ballplaying appears to be quite slick and if we're not going to re-sign Marshall then it might be time to instigate some changes.

Mann was dropped after a couple of poor performances, and came back a better player.
Lafai / KFFL havent done much wrong, but we now have competition for spots.
Mann deserves to stay on at the minute.

Not a bad predicament to have.
I was most critical of Mann at seasons start, but his last couple of games have shown some real spark.
Credit to him for bouncing back.

Agree with this. Give Mann a go at halfback (he played junior origin at 5/8). What's there to lose? Benji is not the way forward and given the fact Mann has proved to have some ticker by bouncing back he might just surprise.

That would be a pretty lethal backline and 1 I would love to see but I just cant see Mary ever picking this unless there is injury to KFFL and Lafai.

Lafai has been good but Aitken has been better. I would drop Lafai to cater for Mann in the centres if you had to drop 1 of them 2. KFFL has been good since he made the start up squad.

Yeah, I can't see Mary doing it either. He is definitely not a bold coach. He seems to prefer mediocre results, and a "better the devil you know" approach, rather than taking a chance on young players with a bit of ability.
