I saw a headline somewhere comparing Maria to Tallis. I agree they are both massive twats, but surely the similarities end there. Maria is a soft-as-butter cheap shot merchant. Aside from being laid out by Simon Dwyer, who is no giant, on his very first hit up on Sudnay he was hammered by Matty Cooper, a centre, and driven backwards. His first hit up. Then we have the ensuing Villasanti-ish cheap shot flop/headbutt on Dean Young, and even the shove on Nathan Fien after his try, which are both the act of a petulant wanker.. nothing remotely hard or aggressive about it.
Maria isn't fit to tie the boots of the real hard men of the game... hell he isn't fit to tie the boots of some of his teammates like FPN, Myles, Ryles and Masoe.
