If they are, he would be a great pick up if he can stay on the park.

there is reports that I think it is StHelens have been in touch with the Dragaons again to see if there is any possibility in a release considering the cap issues they are currently under. The offer last year was huge and well and truly out of our range!!

It's all just media speculation though I think at this stage.

Story over here is that Gasnier is keen to leave St George/NRL, and Wigan are interested.

Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay is heading to Sydney "to watch Origin 3, and talk with any (player) managers that might want to have a coffee and a chat".

Gas isn't going anywhere, he said after the game on sunday that he wouldn't do that to the club because they have enough headaches as it is. The media have seen that Lindsay is flying in and put two and two together and come up with ten.

But i do believe that the pig will be wearing the blue and gold next season, its a done deal IMO.

Gasnier would seriously have to consider the offer from Wigan, if he's meeting with executives he is considering them at least. The Dragons aren't trying to offload him though, dunno where you got that from. He seems like a one club type of player, NRL-wise anyway, no chance in him coming to Parra.

If he is going to leave St George, it will be for Wigan. He would only go to Parramatta if you are going to offer him more than $300-000-$400,000 a season which he is on at the dragons. I'm not sure if you have that kind of money availiable for a centre.

Considering you got Ridell for a ridiculous amount and you want Orford as well, where is the money going to come from?

Your better bet than Gasnier is Tate. By the way Willie Talau, the ex-bulldog now playing in the Super League has said he wants to return to the NRL. Now he is a top centre, with test experience.Maybe you should try him rather than Gasnier!!

Tate has rejected the first offer for the broncos and wants to test the open market. If you offer him enough maybe he will leave.

Brisbane have a lot of salary cap problems with Hunt and Parker (he played origin) needing more, so you may get Tate with the right offer.

What he'd get at Parra would be soaked up in the increased living expenses he would have to shell for in Sydney.

Can't see it happening...these guys are on a good wicket up here at the Broncs have got it good knowing that they can keep players at a decent price because it is cheaper to live up here.
