It's way too early for origin talk for most of NSW halves, there is so much up in the air for all of them. Based on last years form, Soward should be the favourite, but you'll barely see him mentioned in discussions on the topic.

Soward isn't the type of player that gets picked for NSW. If he was born in QLD he would have been there last year.

Kind of like Nathan Blacklock wasn't the kind of player picked for NSW, even though he was leading try scorer for 3 years running.

was about to say the exact same thing, and choc prob had his best year in 99, outplayed freddy and daley in all the games he played against them and could only make the bench
