I was 16 when this came out & could never understand why Al was so not interested in f**king Peg. Now at 48 I get it completely. ha ha. Such a great show of it's time.

Spent quite a few of those years in the shower too, just me a bottle of conditioner & thoughts of Kelly Bundy whiring around my head.

A great show, I wonder if it would have been made it now in this politically correct world?

IMO, it would, as Al gets just as much as he gives. That is the point that a lot of ppl miss is it was a very balanced show. Every character on that show had their ups and downs as far as copping it from the opposite sex. And that is one of the major reasons why it was successful.

If they made it now Al would direct his anger and frustration towards the 1% at the top of his capitalist society instead of women and occasional ethnics who've done next to nothing to him and aren't the source of his problems.
