agreed, i didnt go reading and comparing news stories but i do know the local rag up here on the gold coast the headline was "Fool Takes Swing at Rugby League Player: Benji Exonerated." You can hate the Titans being in the comp as much as you want (cause i do too) but at least the local media report the positive sides of rugby league. Sydneys media is a disgrace.

I just got home from buying a few groceries and as I waited in the checkout I spotted the paper. They claim Benji swung at least 3 punches. If he did I hope that the bloke felt it real good!

Someone once told me they often could only see his feet on most occasions.... protruding from the players arses. I suppose that would be annoying and quite uncomfortable.

So Craig Gower was telling the truth when he said Weidler was a dribbler for suggesting he had any link to French Union, despite signing two days after?

What someone says to a reporter and what is actually true can often be very different. Then again, Massoud could be just down right wrong. However, you'd be silly to completely trust what someone says in a paper as you cannot seriously believe that Gower negotiated a deal to go to French Union in two days.

To be fair, Massoud writes this sort of tripe in relation to loads of different sports.
Last season he wrote a piece on how 'out of control' and 'terrifying' the A-League crowds were after a 15 y.o. kid threw a plastic cup at a referee.

You mean players consider a guy that goes round harrassing them at every after match function, following them round like a 16 year old girl, sending them messages on myspace, claiming to have 'inside info' constantly (but never being correct) on an internet forum annoying?
