Stadium is hard to get to for away fans and locals

Was built in the middle of nowhere with poor access in an area which has an abundance of land

Youre saying twenty years after it was built it will start having good access

And no parking at the stadium

On top of the design flaws (any day game that eastern stand is boiling) and initial rent of 3 million pa

There’s a reason why Gold Coast crowds could be better and on field form is part of it

I’m not sure if Carrara is better located but at least the suns own the management rights to the stadium (receive naming rights and game day revenues)

That titans stadium has been a millstone around their neck

Im not a fan of out of town stadium eg Newcastle, brookvale

At least your nso is right in the cbd
Are you on crack ?

It’s not hard to get to.

You’re associating an unattractive football club in relation to results as a tangible in access to their stadium. Titans don’t get crowds because they stink and they receive the worst game time slots for that reason.

When the all stars game was played there it would pack out and no issue getting to the ground and that was 15 years ago.

The stadium was positioned in an area projected to grow. It’s now grown. If the club starts performing it’ll then get more fans back, more fans will bring more demand and they’ll get better game time slots, better game time slots will bring more consistent crowds and then this chat of location will be redundant, as it is now.

All starts with them winning and being consistent. Location of their stadium isn’t an issue in the slightest.

Why build a 300 million stadium for a Gold Coast club in the Gold Coast hinterlands ?

The choice was poor

Sure if they reduced the pricing of tickets and aren’t awful they will get to 20k

Here’s a question for you

Say they wanted to build a new stadium for the broncos out in the surburbs would you support it based on future population growth

If thinking Cavill ave was the CBD was ignorant.. comparison with Brisbane is one better.
Mate, you have zero clue. Zero.

Need to fill the stand facing the camera

Every game it’s basically empty that creates a perception of a failing club

As I said for day games those seats suck and charging up to 100 for them doesn’t help

About 20 years ago........but it's still the same each time I have to go there for work. The club has never engaged the area and I don't think it ever will. It's just a big black hole for sport.
Don’t think I was throwing shade at you either Chins, I like you as a poster.

But close to a quarter century is a long time. It’s changed alot in a decade, let alone 20 years. A lot of gentrification has occurred.

I live in the hinterland however, no issues from me with the region.

I guess that's fair. Not sure a Gold Coast club will ever really succeed though.

What would be the best ever result for a GC based sporting team in a national competition?

Gold Coast United came 3rd one year In the A league but lost Week 1 of the finals to the 6th placed team ..

Does that best third in the premiers plate for the A league? It’s debatable
Ten team donkey league

Titans have had two sucesful on field periods

Initially until the centre of excellence failed then Neil Henry until Jarryd Hayne ruined the club

Threw away tackling bags at practice lol

Didn’t Hayne take them to the finals for the second and last time ?

I just remembered the NRLW team made the final last year … so let’s give the prize to them

Refreshing that it's not the tired old boring anti-Cronulla rhetoric that goes on in here.
Can't get rid of the Sharkies. One of the biggest junior districts.

And people don't seem to realise that if the Sharkies don't exist then you run the risk that Hynes or Mulitalo might end up at your club. #save the Sharkies.
