Look honestly they're a good enough team that they don't really need a leg up but nevertheless refs have absolutely done everything possible to give them a leg up, dubious 6 agains, Ponga tackled in the air twice and ignored, off side parra players making a tackle and ignored, phantom touch by Hymel.

Don't want to bag our lads but we're the Saifitis playing today? Isn't our strength our forwards? Where are they?

We need a miracle. Games like this show how outdated forward packs like our are. Not mobile or aggressive enough.

Good commitment for 35 minutes though. Ponga has been decent but defence horrendous as per usual. Sadly, I think the score is going to blow out.

Marata, officially the dumbest player in the comp, enjoy the off season, we don’t need dumbasses like this guy, go home champ

Absolutely agree. Refereeing the result they expect, not the game at hand.

What do you say if you are O’Brien when you miss 24 tackles in the first half of a finals game!
You say you've got 40 minutes left to play this year unless you man the f**k up and get in their faces. We're not physically in the match right now.

Their forwards are well on top but i dont think thats entire the fault of the players. Every forward hit up for us is one out and so they're just loading up numbers into the collision, parra on the other hand are really benefiting from Brown and Paulo's ability to ball play which is resulting in alot more one on one tackles or situations where the 1st contact is by a smaller man. The Ferguson try was a result of their ability to get Junior Paulo one on one against Jake Clifford

Has Mann offered anything? Literally.
Well he gave them a needless 6 again which resulted in the 1st try which was scores by his direct opponent, he almost got the Hymel Hunt try disallowed by running the wrong line and has been belted every single run so about a standard game for him really

I think this will blow out in the 2nd half, the team looks too exhausted. Proud of how much we've been in this game though. For 35 minutes the only difference was Kurt Mann.

“Consistency is appreciated.”

Our RHS defence is a joke. Pearce is cooked re age and speed, Mann is cooked re intelligence and ability.
Exactly right re Pearce, his mobility and quickness is so diminished that him defending 3 in is almost like having a 130kg prop min7s the size, strength and physicality defend in that spot. If we were still in the unlimited interchange era you'd almost sub him off every defensive set like what Manly used to do with Cliff Lyons
