From the above we can determine he is facing 4 counts (criminal charges), which he is contesting at hearing.
Typically success rates at hearings etc are low, an overall stat rate of 11% . Which is probably too high when you think about it as it means 11% shouldn’t even have been charged.
The AVO will follow the findings on those counts.
Then the cops have a mention, so it’s likely another charge/s are floating around somewhere and we don’t know when they could be heard.
It’s a local court hearing, it may not be reached and let’s say it’s best case scenario and it’s actually heard, the magistrate can reserve his or her decision to another date, weeks away.
Thence of course, prospect of an appeals process for the losing party.
So he’s got a bit on.
I’ve read about the nature of the charges, they are indeed quite serious.
Entitled to his presumption of innocence of course.
