These footballers can make a thing about family and court.

The assumption is that it is supportive.

I guess it is, but its still pretty lonely for May sitting there watching and listening the evidence against him unfold.

Plus as a DV matter, there’s cops, woman's dv service and media everywhere.

No idea if he’s guilty.

Taylans in court tomorrow. Very tense.

I guess Police would be focused on the victim and getting her to court to adopt her statement and face cross examination.

A lot at stake for everyone.

As these things go, I suspect everyone will be going through the last minute preparations this afternoon.

Still wondering what his defence is? He must have one if he’s pleading not guilty.

But it’s a quality issue I spose.
You don’t always need a sound defence, just need a high priced quality barrister who can carve up some poor innocent alleged victim. That’s the reality mate. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to a second chance, I’m not a fan of the cancel culture thing, even if convicted, perhaps he deserves a second chance.

I’m talking around the case, not about it.

The magistrate and the prosecution aren’t going to allow any carving up in a dv related matter.

I can’t give him a second chance as before the law he’s still on his first.

This isn’t cancel culture if you read about the allegations.

If he’s guilty, I think he is likely to be sent to gaol. Probably after appeals etc.

She may not turn up, but because of the allegations, i think it will be adjourned or maybe a warrant issued to bring her to court.

Not about this case, but I have zero sympathy for these heroes who get angry and bash women. They should be taken off the streets.

So too says Luke Lewis who grew up with DV and Brandy who sent Tyrone on his way.

Some people simply don’t deserve second chances. We have to protect the public and women fr these monsters.
And it’s up to us men to stand up as much as it is for any wokey woofta.

That’s my view killer, feel free to disagree my brother!

I’m not disagreeing with anything you have said.

DV related stuff is a very sensitive issue no question.

Lets not ignore the fact many women, victims, suffer in silence, never coming forward to make a complaint.

Im not a fan of the guy, I think he has issues, but should he rubbed out of the game altogether regardless of the outcome, I don’t know, I’m simply suggesting most are deserving of a second chance that’s all.

If fitness is so important how can it be so difficult to achieve..The preseason will only consist of a 20km run every second day, working their way up to a marathon ..There’s no game plan at the end of preseason anyway.. the players skill level doesn’t change over that time. So every second day off to recover from the run and they’ll be much better prepared and likely to win games as the fittest team in the comp .. what am I missing.
T May ran a marathon over the last couple of months. No one else did or we would have heard. His numbers havnt been bad lately. In fact you could say he’s a standout

You guys sacked him for reasons other than the current allegations, so that’s a bad sign because usually you’re a bit hesitant.

And he’s a good footballer, so you wouldn’t have made the decision lightly.

More recently, Tyrone is starting to show signs of genuine remorse, which is good for his future as a person. He seems to have got there in the end, but the damage is done.

There’s pressure on Taylans alleged victim, I think her friend phoned the incident in, but she has the kids and he’s making the good living. If he goes down, her life is going to change so drastically.

As you infer, the finances might stop some victims moving forward. To give victims the same finances they had before the dv is pretty hard I suppose.

That’s why I’m big on prevention ( like you).

The two guys I’d think about finishing off in the game forever are Mam and Junior Amone.

A significant factor in the saving of the lives of the mam crash was that when he was looking at vehicles to use for work, Mr Uber weighed everything up, paid a bit overs and bought a Camry.

This would have been unsurvivable not so long ago.

An eminently wise from Mr Uber!
