Ese Ese was playing too straight (for him) last week. No step and look to pass.
I hope he doesn't slack off now he has signed elsewhere. It was a criticism with his training.

Sione is a tank. Barnett is a lookatic who plays like a front rower and Saulo was impressive last week. Watson also takes the line on with aggression. I'm not concerned with the bench.

I assume you meant lunatic and yes I think you are right. I met Mitch at the Queensland members event in 2019 and for some reason I was more polite and formal with him compared with the other players. He was nice to me but I felt that he did have a dangerous glint in his eye. There was something about his eyes that troubled me a little bit.

He was just that sort of person who naturally made you nervous because you sense that he was a hard man who wouldn't take crap off anyone. He had genuine toughness, whereas you can pick a fake tough guy from a mile off because they're all bluster. Not Mitch, he was quiet and at the same time dangerous, like a shark. I'm glad he's on our team.

Interesting insight cheers.....I got that feeling from watching his interviews.

His name has been often left out of the conversation with regards to the players we've been missing and he doesnt have the character the media can make a popular story about, but Barny is one of our best.

Seems harsh to leave Hoy out, especially considering he was our most threatening player last week. Tuala hasn't done much wrong though. If I'm honest, I'd rather see Hoy to wing, Tuala to centre, Moga to bench and Sione left right out.

I thought Moga was great last week. If he's fit and his mindset is right, our best centre pairing is Moga and Best.
I agree re: Sione though, he just has not progressed - still drops the ball occasionally, gives away penalties, falls off tackles and is occasionally slow getting back to the line. He does run a pretty good line though, I'd like to see more of that and less of the other shite.

I think every NRL team needs a Mitch Barnett. He's the sort of player where the opposition knows if they take out one of the smaller guys with a grub shot (like Ponga) then he'll be waiting on the very next hit-up to give it back tenfold. The sort of bloke who probably doesn't say much in the change room, but when he does say something everyone stops, listens and understands. Mitch is that guy I reckon.

This has been sorely missed these last weeks. I'm surprised no reaction from Klemm or Dsaf on a number of occasions.

We've been bullied lately and I hate it.

After that Roosters loss our team has even more to play for now in this game. Win and we get our top 4 spot back.

I reckon we need a game plan for this but we need a simpler game plan.
We have been way too rushed getting it out wide and expecting players like Pearce and Ponga to make something of it. We need to earn it.
Better structure. Roll up the middle. Earn spreading it out wide. More attack around the edges. Hold the ball.

interested to see how we respond to some pressure today, particularly Ponga, champions stand up in games like this.

Don't stand as flat, pass the ball. Simples.
