Obi needs to break some doors or chairs or something. We looked like amateur hour out there.

The weather isn't even an excuse for this...shit house first half from us

The hooker curse continues.

It's beyond ridiculous now. Kostjacyn, Griffin, Brailey, McCullough, Watson ... who am I leaving out?

Randall would be within his rights to refuse to play and look for a contract elsewhere from 2021. He's guaranteed to get a serious injury in the next few weeks if he plays.

We're easily winning the field advantage battle but have really lacked that extra class close to the line. Canterbury's kicking game has been far superior which is sad considering Lewis is their halfback. In these conditions we really need to be giving the receiver early ball instead of right at the line

I missed most of the first half. Bad news re Watson and McCullough. Nothing is happening out of dummy half. Put Mann in, bring Ponga up, drop a back back to cover for Ponga and Sione or Barnett to Centre.

We've dropped the ball every time we get into their 30m. Also Klemmers been pretty poor by his standards.

I don’t think we’re playing as bad as it looks. Pearce needs to kick better. Otherwise it feels like every bounce of the ball has gone against us and for them.

Won’t be a pretty game but hopefully we can power through this.

First 20 we weren't playing wet weather footy at all - put on a lot of plays and pushed passes that we shouldn't have. Second 20 was better. The injuries are just tragic, though.

Pearce's kicking is disgraceful

It really is. Every now and then he produces a decent kicking game out of nowhere, but his standard operating procedure is very, very ordinary. He's the complete opposite of the great halves who always look to have time on their side to make the right decision. Pearce always looks rushed and panicked, even after a dominant set or quick play the ball. His composure is embarrassing.

To be fair, we made two line breaks in the first five minutes. They probably got ahead of themselves after that start before realising they had to rein it in.

A lot of our drops have been regulation stuff rather than throwing the bill around. Have the Dogs made an error yet? Every juggle they re-gathered or somehow retained possession.

Not a great time for Watson to get injured. The commentators seem to have forgotten him but thank god we have Randall left.

Unfortunately whether we win or lose today, we've probably lost our shot at doing anything special in the finals. Down to 4th choice hooker and losing the spark / point of difference provided by Watson, it's too much for a team like us to overcome and expect to trouble the big boys. We're cooked. It's a real shame because at full strength and in form I do think we would have acquitted ourselves quite well at the end of the season. Doubt we could've won the comp either way, but we could've put up a real fight and laid a platform for next season.
