They all are aren’t they?!

There was that wonderful comment on the mighty game day thread that the game this year has 8 teams vying for the spoon.

Just channeling my inner @Vic Mackey at the moment, I think the pressure is back on Madge big time but for the moment, I think the side is really well thought out.

All of his steady growth players appear, perhaps more fully licensed smug than smug itself ( i stole that concept from their own thread) and meeting with Tom Amone after the game last week, I could sense he really wants to go further. If he’s selected, he won’t let us down.

But the actual meeting of minds will be which Tigers side runs out and it’s entirely up to Madge to get them to that level and the full 80.

I think it will closer than expected unless one of us blinks. If they get over us early and we panic, we are in for a long night. Unforced errors will play a role.

Its a pity we have the crackdown to contend with, but so do they. We will need to challenge the brilliant Kiks, bait him all night, get him sent if possible and no shirking.
I do agree that the team that runs out is up to Madge, but once they cross onto the field, I believe it is then up to the players, you can teach skill and fitness, but not smarts or mongrel and we will need it all against them.
But don’t worry, we’ve got this:joy::joy::sweat_smile:

will Lucy be playing?
Cleared to play

Wests Tigers forward Luciano Leilua is free to play in Round 13 after he was found not guilty by the judiciary on Tuesday night.

Leilua had been cited for a Grade One Shoulder Charge offence in his side's win over the Dragons but successfully defended the charge with lawyer Nick Ghabar.

Leilua will start in the back row against Penrith on Friday night.

You think about Lucy being plucked from total obscurity and footy oblivion under McGregor and is now completely dominant under Madge.

Strange how players respond to different coaches and environments.

To be fair, Momo is going well under Ivan, but his whinging and whining for a release when he barely knew his way to training for us was a bit off.

As was the Huth and his vocalisation of treachery.

The ungrateful ex-tigers in the smug b grade team this weekend need a good thrashing, teach the noisy punks some manners.

Momo is the last person I'd describe as a whinger. Played all over the backline for us for a shot, watching clowns being selected ahead of him, including filling in at fullback in order for to give Farah a farewell match from the bench, despite our season being beyond over. We then go and buy blokes to play in his position and trade him off to the Storm so we could have a lend of Harry Grant for a season, despite the Storm having no intentions of letting him stay, when we just as easily could have signed Api Korosau instead and kept Momo. Then when he came back and we wouldn't release Talau or Cini, he puts his hand to move on because he was clearly never wanted by Madge. He wasn't treated very well by the club and has been much more professional than several other players I could name.

Good to see Pavaroti get off. I like watching him play, plenty of heart & skillful. I'm also looking forward to Fish & Aussie Jim squaring off. You would have to think Tamou will be up for this one, and Fish is always up for it.

Good post but there may be a couple of errors.

Harry had that players option he didn’t exercise once Cam decided to bow out. He made the decision not the storms.

When he arrived at Smug land after being traded for Laurie, Momo took a couple of laxatives, climbed to the top of Panthers and let it rip on our jersey way down below. It was unnecessary. So did Huth.

They get to Penrith and if they come from our club, they are instructed to spear us. Momo should have manned up and refused to enter the field of battle.

Allo grabbed his own knife and started stabbing us in the shower before he left. It was more of a domestic, with the ugliness that accompanies it. But I won’t challenge your learned inference on that one.

In your heart, you’ll be hoping we win brother Sockster.

He's probably read your posts:D:D:D

Maybe don't wear your TSP shirt?

He reached out for someone who looked like @sensesmaybenumbed and there was a short and happy embrace.

I knew it was senses because the same bloke had been pelting me with apple cores all night with jeers of “ sit down ya f**king tool, before I stick ya fone up ya a....”

Senses always goes to BankWest.

Yep we treated him very poorly and to his great luck he’ll win back to back premierships with different clubs. Kinda funny really.

We struggle big time with teams who are good at offloading, have speed and can spread the ball quickly. Penrith even well below full strength have all these qualities by the wheel barrow loaf

Who is crying spazz?
Those who shit on this club are telling the truth. You can’t handle that.

He should have shut his stupid gob. Him, Huth, Matt’s and your gardening mate Allo.

When Harry left, he left with dignity and good graces, as did Thommo and even Esan.

Momo and Huth crapped on about wanting to be smug and how f**ked we are. They can shove their selfish bullshit up their clackers. They need to be taught a good lesson Mr “Stryker puss”

We are on the eve of an important game, surely we can we have moment of hope this decade?! Just something to know we are all still alive!

Seriously you are so full of shit it is embarrassing.

Matt Eusinhuth and Paul Momorovski did the usual go to a new club interviews and put the normal spin around everything is great around the new club.

They were just playing the game, didn’t put shit on your club, just all part of the business.

Your suggestions are plain silly.

The majority of Panthers fans were dignified around your recruitment of Blore, Tamou and Laurie. We wished them well and for the most part hoped they would succeed.

Your posts around Matt and Paul are ridiculous.

We have more players with high level nrl match fitness. Their backs are at best suspect and their bench looks like something the cat dragged in.
