Too much to expect Klemmernator and Kayln to back up 48 hours after an origin match.

They should be missing Cook , Walker , Gagai and Murray.

If our forwards can hold them we should win this. We need Herman, Dsaf and Barny to take angry pills before the game and Gavet to do the same as previous 2 weeks.

Hopefully our form continues after having a week off. Forwards will all have to make extra effort to make up for no Klem, and will be interested to see how Lee goes at fullback.

Souths will be complacent. I'm sure Wayne will spend the entire week drumming into his players how useless Newcastle are as a club and that they're still a good 2-3 years away from being a competitive side.

That’s Gallen mate. Bennett will probably see us as a threat because he left us in such an amazing position.

Brown says Watson definitely to hooker.

Lots of options for fullback but Mann and Lee mentioned in that order.
The way the table is now we are well positioned - win or lose.
I'll go for a win. I think we can keep the ball rolling.
without half their spine in Cook and Walker they are ripe for a beating. Interested to see how we go without Klemmer and Ponga, theyre equally as important to us.

When was the last time we were an Origin affected side? Let's hope we stay one for many years to come.
Trying to work that out. We had Ponga last year and Gagai 2017.
Ages since a big representation though. Not that this year is big in terms of numbers.

I actually like Browny's deception with the team sheet but there is no way that starting 17 is going to be the run-out team on Friday night. Ponga and Klem will need a rest, NRL is a marathon not a sprint.

Big game for Dan Saifiti, he'll have to step into Klemmer's role and be our forward leader. I'll back him to pull it off.
