I don't think Brown is blaming the possession, I think he is drawing attention to it saying we don't get the possession due to our own uselessness.

I genuinely do wonder about Brown as an actual football coach, even though I'm totally on board with everything he's doing off the field.

I want to like Brown so much, but I keep having this feeling that despite how outgunned we are we don't ever do anything differently or look like we're greater than the sum of our parts in the way we did under Brian Smith. Basically we don't look like a well coached team to me, and that's worrying.

I keep comparing him to Smith in my head, and he always comes up short. Smithy has a brilliant football brain, though... would be one of the great coaches of the modern era if he wasn't such a weirdo on top.
