Don't think we can win it, but this would our best chance for a long time to jag it.

OUT
Benji - honestly think that might be his last game if you lip read his post game comment to Leilua he says "syndemosis." I also think we play with more confidence and take the right option more often when Reynolds plays with Brooks.
Eisenhuth - playing injured. Very slow and immobile around the ruck
Seyfarth - 2020 is an unusual season with no reggies but there is still no reason to throw youngsters in before they are ready.

IN
Blore - I've read elsewhere that Maguire wants to manage the workload of young players but leaving him out makes absolutely no sense. His carries are strong and he hits hard in defence.
Mikaele - needs to be better but we need size across the squad
Twal - tightens up the ruck defence

I think the smart play is to spread the ball early in the tackle count against the roosters. We did that a couple of times tonight and Nofa got on the outside.

I'd also like to see more willingness to die with the ball on the last tackle inside the attacking 20m. That is not a bad option considering we kick it dead so often.

I also look forward to Reynolds kicking for space and leading the chase. Brooks is a one trick pony with his high bombs.

Don’t believe the Roosters violins in the media. They are likely getting JWH, BMoz, Tupou and Chricton back with Cordner and SBW a chance

Keary no doubt a loss but we’re missing Grant who’s been our best player by a mile this year. Really hoping Twal and Mikaele are back, Id even look at MCK in the bench for something different

I don’t think it will be a blow out as they lack some points but still expect they beat us by 14 or so

I agree with everything you said but this one. Brooks put in some great kicks today. He hit the game winner. He put up a good bomb that we stuffed and he put a good kick into the in goal which Benji stuffed but nearly scored off.

Yeah due to injury Roosters are down to only 6 or 7 rep players in their starting side. Vulnerable..

JWH, Crichton, Morris and Tupou back. There might be an issue with their spine with Keary and potentially Lam out, but I reckon their forwards will dominate us, giving Flanagan enough of a platform to get Teddy and the other gun outside backs into a position to score points.

Shite performance but a W is a W. Did everything we could to lose that one. A few positives
-LL was outstanding
-AD had his best game since the Parra debacle
-M’Bye looked like a competent goal kicker (and wasn’t too bad in general play)

We have a knack of making Keiran Foran think it’s 2011 when he plays against us.

I think Twal and Mikaele will play and I hope Blore does too. Assuming Benji is out and Reynolds plays 6 I think Chee Kam plus 3 of the biggest blokes available will be a smart bench. Good call.
Need to pick monsters against the Chooks their gang tackling in defence is first class.

Teddy was actually pretty garbage last week. Like playing behind a pack with Tim Grant and Joel Edwards.

Don’t believe the Roosters violins in the media.
When other teams have an injury toll you barely hear about it. When the Roosters do ch 9 need to highlight it on the screen 5 times a game, and the rules need to be changed back. .

That was a great kick from Brooks wasn’t it..see what happens when we have momentum and Brookes has confidence. He kicks as good as the best...It was a short kick and required excellent judgement and touch. You must be blind tho if u think Benji stuffed it..It was an unlucky high bounce, even a netball fan could see that.
It was his only repeat set kick tho...But see he can do it.
Let’s hope he’s building towards something just in time

I only state Benji stuffed it because he did. It wasn't really his fault but it was a perfect kick. If Benji had just tackled whoever it was that was there or let it go we would have got a repeat set.

Brooks also put up another really good kick that we should have taken and maybe scored off but for whatever reason no one got to it.

That is true ..hard not to go for the try but..They had to replay at least twice to check he touched the high ball which still didn’t really confirm and then his foot was only on the line when he grounded the ball inside the line (that was a fair effort) ...I think Id be disappointed if he didn’t go for the try..I don’t think anyone leaves those and just waits to tackle now

From Fox Sports: I guess we'll know this afternoon.

Tips: Benji Marshall rolled his ankle against the Bulldogs and is expected to be fine for the clash at Leichhardt Oval. Other than that, the Tigers are fighting fit and could well have Alex Twal back this week. It’s a different story for the injury-hit Roosters. Trent Robinson said he would not get any fresh bodies back for another week with Daniel Tupou, Angus Crichton, Brett Morris and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves all nearing comebacks. Drew Hutchison and Kyle Flanagan will come into the halves after injuries to Lachlan Lam and Luke Keary, while 18-year-old Sam Walker, son of former Bronco Ben, could slot onto the bench. “There’s talk about Sam Walker, the really exciting 18-year-old. They’re worried about Jake Friend, he’s had too much football and he’s playing 80 minutes,” Buzz Rothfield told NRL360. “I think their halves will be Kyle Flanagan and Drew Hutchison, Sam Walker though I would not be surprised if he’s picked in the 21 and he might even sit on the bench.”

Mitchell Aubusson injury also opens up the possibility of Lindsay Collins starting and Nat Butcher returning to the back-row.
