Serious question... how many of you have contemplated leaving this sh*tshow that is the Knights behind and move on to a successful club like Roosters or Storm? I have been a Knights fan since 88 but seriously. I couldn’t support another club but im always finding myself in awe of these successful clubs wishing that one day we will have those glory days.

Imagine being a Panthers fan right now enjoying 10 straight wins and more than likely ending up with a Minor Premiership....

Imagine being a Roosters fan and knowing you may possibly win 3 comps in a row....

Imagine being a Storm fan knowing you have been one of the best teams since 2006 and never play a bad game...

Then you realise you’re a knights fan and there is no light at the end of the tunnel, only an oncoming train...

Why do we even bother...

Tbh if I’m not a Knights supporter, I’m not a rugby league supporter. That doesn’t mean I’d go to AFL or another sport, more that I’d just focus on my career, family and friends.

I’m trying to remain more calm after a Knights loss but sometimes it’s not possible if they’re not putting the effort in. The main thing for me is to stay off FB because it really is a cesspit of unintelligent and arrogant people.

I’ve got my firstborn coming next year and if this team continues to have a deteriorating effect on my mental wellbeing, I’ll walk, because she will be more important than rugby league.

Noticed the yellow card on the tv score graphic, but had given up caring. Was it the cannonball from Saulo?

edit: just saw your post Jono. Cheers.

That loss had nothing to do with the halves, we were utterly dominated, we could've had bedsy and Joey out there and it still wouldn't have made much difference when you allow the opposition to make 50-60m every single set
The warriors made 19 offloads.

19! How f**king hard is it to wrap the ball up? Not very, considering we only made 3

What did the coach have to say about that? I haven't watched the presser and won't for fear of him taking it lightly.

On another note, this must be the softest comp in many years. We were sitting comfortably in the 8 coming into the round despite not looking like a Top 8 side for much of the season. Even Souffs who are 5th looked very ordinary all season until this round. There's nothing between the teams below 6th on any given day (aside from the laughable Broncos) and that's a result of mediocrity, not a strong comp. I can't remember so many sh*t teams in one season.

I would rather keep supporting a shit show than support a fake club like the Roosters

To me the majority of the offloads were a direct result of us being so passive in defence. Instead of getting the ball under pressure or even being met with a defensively line meeting them head on we didn't get off the line at all in defence, pretty much every single hit up the ball carrier was able to make 8-9m before even having a hand laid on him.

Klemmer got binned in the last 5. Not sure if it was for his cannonball tackle or general ferocity in the last 5 minutes where he was getting heated.
The commentators didn't mention it, but I rewound it and noticed he gave back to back penalties away and then got binned.

Outclassed and outenthused, the Knights were a shadow of the team that put the cleaners through the Tigers just a few weeks ago.

Instead, they just looked like a side making up the numbers.

“We turned up, turned the footy over then didn’t want to get our contact on,” coach Adam O’Brien said.

“It was just a poor attitude.

“We need to address it and take the lessons from it really quickly. It’s quite embarrassing as a club to have that.”

Is it a standards thing? Pearce is our captain and leader but dishes up crap every week so the rest of the squad don't really have much to look up to?

So generally it’s attitude??? WHY??? First grade players, paid lots of money, chance to play semi’s etc, even under 10’s go out wanting to win, not many in this side/squad has played in a 1st grade semi let alone final/grand final. What does it take to make them up and ready for a game.
I have asked questions so does anyone have me some answers, I mean real answers.
I have one, more a suggestion than an answer, make Guerra captain, sack Pearce as captain tell him to tow the line and play for the team and if we don’t make home semi plus then no contract beyond his present one
