All their offloads are coming off. Don't think our goal line defence has been that bad.

But its fascinating that any one of their players can throw these miracle balls and our elite ball playing fullback seems to have lost his ability to pass the ball properly.
Right. We haven't defended bad at all. They're playing loose but everything's working. We'd be right in this with just one competent half.

More boos….

I don’t really agree with the booing tonight. Getting run over the top of by a much bigger side. Not much you can do. The problems start with administration not the few forwards we have left.

Saying that though Cogger and Hastings don’t work as a halves pairing.

Cambra have had a bunch of players come good all at once. I can't tell most of them apart but they all play the same style, fast, powerful and high intensity. Having a crop of player come on like this is how premierships are won. We haven't had a group like that in way too long.
lol some of those players are literally blokes we didn't want.

They've been (shocking I know) coached to this point. It's not something we know too much about unfortunately.

We seem to take the wrong options in attack to what I’m seeing. We keep going short pass to a straight runner when we need to go wide around halfway, and going wide when we need to go short pass to straight runner when we were on their line.

Neither of them are NRL level halves, so it's generally a given I think. Be weird if they combined into something that does work.

The ones we let go aren't really their game breaking stars though. The biggest plodders in the NRL consistently have career best games against the Knights.

Our own current best players are injury prone, inconsistent and poorly coached. We don't have a chance do we?

I know he’s still not a proper “half” but I think we’re really missing Sharpe. He just plays what’s in front of him. Cogger/Hastings are trying way too hard to put on structured plays that aren’t on or easy to read.
Neither can run the ball due to lack of pace. Opposition knows it and it crippled a few sets in the first half. Brown would be making a difference tonight in attack.

Held scoreless at halftime in more than 50% of our matches this season

absolutely tragic
Our shape looks better with Crossland at 13 or Hastings at 6, I'm not sure which one, maybe both. But even though we can generally spread the ball "better" now, its still not threatening the defence at all. We are just completely impotent with the ball way too often. And honestly a significant part of it is it KP has completely lost his touch this year. He is passing too early 90% of the time, and too often missing the mark.

Absolutely, he's been our MVP this year. Any sniff of a fairytale run was extinguished when his kidney and spleen exploded imo. Kalyn just doesn't have the magic right now.

This is special team we are playing and if they go onto win the comp it will be a well deserved title. They are so fit and fast. They are playing in second gear. Ethan Strange is going to be some player.
