He's 19 and not even spent a year in a very foreign and new environment. He may not make it, but it's a bit premature to write him off yet I think.

It’s a fair point, but they’re also the kind of excuses one has to make because the downsides so look so obvious. Maybe he will develop fast and become a good player, but he will need to. He’s the same age as Tubuai-Fidow, and these days even at 19-20 you want to see a proper first grader. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

If you were brought through in Australian systems all of your life, I think that's a fair expectation. He's got a lot of catching up to do, but he's improved heaps since the start of the year already for mine. Still plenty to work on, no doubt.
