We’re not a consistent team, nothing new really. At least our bad weeks aren’t as bad as they used to be. We’ve had some real shockers over the last few years.

This all starts with the middle. The roosters are just rolling up the middle and making 60-70m per set and throwing offloads at will. Our big boys need to get up on them early and shut the ball down and start winning some rucks. The edges are being carved apart because we’re constantly back peddling thanks to our middle getting dominated.

That’s a bit harsh on Hoy. Can’t really blame the fullback for not stopping a bunch of tries when our defensive line is being torn to shreds. He’s young and will learn but this isn’t his night.
