If the 2 Dans stand up again amd get us parity in the middle then we have a good chance is all our backs as listed are fit.

If KP is not fit dont risk him. Young Meaney will be solid at the back if not quite that explosive.

I don't want to sound like I'm hounding the guy but I would have loved to have seen Denniss be the one to move to the Dogs and us kept Meaney to play back up fullback, wing and centre...

Aaahh...the Perenara factor to contend with again .

If we can continue to improve and build on the last 2 weeks AND we get back up to having our completions around or up above 85% we should be able to grind this out.

I hope Ponga is good to go and I think we are defensively much stronger with Denniss out of our backline.

I also hope they don't give us the double whammy of having Scott and Mclean right to come back for this game

Came across this little tidbit in the NRL.com preview of the game:

"Knights Stat Attack: Newcastle have the best set completion rate in the Telstra Premiership this season with 80%. The Cowboys were the best in the competition last year, alongside the Warriors, also with 80%."

I’d love to know the percentage of a pointless run or shit kick on the end of those sets.

So why aren't we doing better, hanging on to the ball is not all its cracked up to be or have we ignored other relevant stats and concentrated on the one success, so completion rates are invalid to success. If I am wrong please explain,

This cant be understated IMHO , the guy hates us for some reason. Was going to tip us to win until I saw this post. Ummm , no 50/50 calls thats for sure, we are going to have a long day unless we are on song.

Cogger was decent when playing with Pearce earlier in the year. Hopefully he won't be as bad as he has been lately.

I haven't been following reggies but why not Lamb over Cogger? I really don't know how Cogger could possibly a worse player and he's not here next season anyway.
