Nice game. Fun to watch. Ponga is a level above.

Finally we are putting some grubbers in. Need Lino for just those grubbers.

SKD could have had two super tries but damn. Good efforts but I think it's time we let one of the younger lads have a go?
Unfortunately we've had a quite a few injuries in the backs this year in lower grades. Toa, Musgrave and Best have all missed more games then they've played

We have some outside back prospects coming through... but I think we probably need a bit of a nightwatchman for another 12 months or so.

SKD has always had a game or two like this in him.

I'm actually a fan of SKD. Really enjoyed what he has brought to the club over the last couple of years. Just needs to be able to score as a winger.

Very pedestrian in attack.

Watson has seemed lost a little bit so far, but I’m not sure if the calls are coming. Disjointed as all hell. Lino settling in later in the half though.

Happy to be 8-6 down, but Ponga only threat.

Klemmer is unbelievable.

Newcastle has 3 sets on the manly line in the first 20 minutes, and I don’t think I saw Ponga touch the ball once? When he finally does later in the half, he scores a try and then very nearly gets SKD over. It’s like they’re trying not to play to their strengths.

Absolutely, he's generally expected to score both of those.

Dreadful. Is there a half that gets tackled on the 5th more than Pearce? We then scramble trying to find a kicker the next play

Pearce is trying to lift the team with a try. He could try lifting them with a repeat set, or an inside ball, or something that isn't running it.

Wtf was that kick for touch? Where is Pearces head at right now? This is round 1-5 Pearce.
